I've been using this model myself with a Steam Deck for quite a while. I'm still surprised at how good it is for what I paid. Mine came with 6 or 7 bags of cables which was crazy. It is so slim it fits in my rucksack alongside my laptop. Laptop powers it and is perfect for a quick mobile 2 screen setup. Infinitely better screen than my ThinkPad!
Hi man! Please if you can ask my question. It van charge the deck? I have one and when i connect the deck and the charger on two type c, my deck still discharging:(
If you are interested in this monitor, please notice that Freesync support has been removed. It was present in the first release but caused massive screen flicker and has been removed then. So no VRR at all.
having the exact same monitor ang got a steam deck Oled, but it doesn't work at all, plugin in the usb C cable doesn't do anything, the monitor stays black
Interesting. I know there were issues with the OLED detecting external drives, and changing a setting in the bios fixed it. Maybe that could fix your issue?
@@johnnybravo4012 Dude you saved me, I bought a portable monitor similar to this one and was driving myself crazy trying to figure out why it was staying black. Unlike the video where he uses the screen directly plugged into the steam deck, I was trying to use it with a dock but that wasn't working. I tried so many different ways to plug it in. I saw your comment and checked the Steam deck display settings, and saw the option for enhanced compatibility for low resolution displays was off (I guess by default, which is crazy to have enhanced compatibility off by default). I turned it on, and now the screen is working perfectly with the dock! You rock.

Thanks for sharing. It’s not something I used, so wasn’t aware it was an issue
That was interesting!
Thanks!
When the monitor is plugged in to the power, does it also power the steam deck?
It does but with this particular model you get the ‘slow charger’ warning.
