Sir Rabbie Namaliu apologizes to both sides of the Bougainville conflict

  • The Man who was Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea when the Bougainville Crisis erupted, has for the first time publicly apologized for his actions.
    Senior Statesman, Sir Rabbie Namaliu, apologized to both sides of the Bougainville conflict, to end Phase One of the National Reconciliation ceremony in Kokopo East New Britain.
    The former Prime Minister also making his intentions known to also be a part of the main National Reconciliation ceremony in Panguna, Autonomous Region of Bougainville.

    It would have a greater impact if the man who gave the order “Shoot to kill”. Namely Julius Chan, to present himself to such a reconciliation ceremony! But he’s a coward and never would!

      Ash$$$, you are obviously a non Bougainvillean and non New Irelander. That's why you have zero clue about the reconciliations between Julius Chan and Bougainvilleans. If you are a Bougainvillean, you would have known there were reciprocating reconciliation done both in Bougainville and New Ireland by Julius Chan in 2009.

    Trupla man to admit and apologize. After all he was executing his duty as head of government for deploying security forces to protect property but unfortunately the situation got out of control. But a true leader will admit and apologize... salute you Sir for being a honest leader and a Melanesian
