I do agree with a lot of the points here accept the Gojo conclusion. I do actually think it was pretty good the way Gojo said "hasn't everyone had enough of Satarou Gojo?" because I think this is one of the first times we get to see more of Gojo's true feeling with how he is viewed in society. We don't get to see a lot of how he feels about being the strongest other than that he accepted his status back in hidden inventory. But everything that has happened since, him opening up to Yuji about wanting to trust the world to move on without him I think is a great way to conclude him. More a rant on this part about the finale chapter: I think that them going back to the old school goofiness was a good idea since we haven't gotten any of that ever since Shibuya. I do think Gojo and the aftermath of the fight should have been more relevant in the final chapters. But all in all, I don't think it's terrible. But "wasted Potencia" is definitely the best way to put it.
i mean he is not wrong... sometimes i even wondered why yuji was the main character when gege didnt even show us half of all the development he gave to gojo. Like it was almost annoying.
Honestly that would have held more weight if Gege had properly expanded on the other characters to eclipse Gojo. The rest of the cast just isn't given enough prominence to have people just move on from Gojo when he WAS the biggest draw to the series both within the JJK universe and to the audience.
@@sammydray5919 I have to agree on that. Gojo is made one of the center focuses of the story and is shown to be a large infleunce on the world just because he exists. Sure, it seems in character for him but not deserved to be said without proper justification. If the series had time to expand on the characters and show them reaching the level gojo predicted the new gen of sorcerers would, then sure. It’s hard to put my thoughts into why I don’t love it in a super detailed way but to put it simply, I just don’t think it needed to have such an intense and depressing storyline so fast after season 1 had just ended in a mostly positive note and we were just getting to know these wonderful characters. The reason why I consider S1 of JJK to be so phenomenal is largely due to the Goodwill event. So many scenes of showing how badass these characters were and showing off how skilled they were in their own way. They showed off their immense potential to the world of JJK and it made me think that they were gonna be large part of it but that didn’t exactly happen. Instead they show up and they’re just gone until they’ve useful to the plot again. Honestly though, one of the biggest problems with JJK was its lack of development for its large cast of characters. Even if they did get their time to shine, you’re just never too emotionally attached to them to the point where it elevates your experience on the show, like sure, it felt incredibly sad to see Nanami and Kugisaki die so brutally but I never felt devastated by it. I easily could’ve felt way more if they were developed more further. At most, they were only characters that you thought were interesting and nothing more. All and all, I’m still excited for the culling games arc and the rest of JJK to be animated but at the same time I hope that it can improve on the manga bcuz while it does have its flaws that make me love the show less, it is still one of the coolest things I’ve ever got the chance to watch and throughly enjoy.
I believe shibuya was bad because the fights had no purpose or meaning to it. The only one I’d consider as meaningful is the one against gojo, as that whole thing tied to the hidden inventory quite well. Any other fight was there just because it could be there, even the Mahoraga fight was pointless as the audience didn’t know why sukuna was helping Megumi. I believe a development of goal would be much better than a foreshadowing for that fight.

what a questionable take on the fights being longer and "straying from the source material" its not straying far at all, just because they extended the fights and made them look insanely visually appealing doesnt make it "bad" or "mediocre" no one wants to see the original sukuna vs mahoraga fight, it was extremely boring and ended in 2 chapters
Seeing the ending of jjk then now seeing a new chapter of hxh. Its just insane how better hxh is at character writing its just massive leagues above it
I have to disagree with you saying s1 ost is better than than s2 ost. In my opinion, a lot of the songs fit where they were placed like limitless cursed techique, if I am with you, Hidden Inventory, Vague reason among many others.
btw gege confirmed he had everything planned as the first panel of chapter 1 is the exact same as the chapter 271 final panel "oh but he made it up at the end" No, because the thing that held the finger is exactly pointing towards the north and the chapter was called "Ryomen Sukuna" symbolising Sukuna going north was always predetermined
That's not proof. Bro could've just looked back at the first panel and said "yeah this'll work" or knew what he wanted the final panel to be but not the rest of the ending.
@@ThisIsChris-AnimeI think Gege only emphasis that Yuji and Sukuna were the same person but different path. The staff of MAPPA even show that Yuji and Sukuna soul become one after Jogo forcefeed Yuji with 15 finger. He tried to show that pathway of soul is Yuji's flashback by inserting same Yuji's dialog but Sukuna said it but people think other way. In chapter two, Even Yuji said kinda two faced.
Its true though? Season 2 by itself doesn't have that many memorable tracks compared to season 1. Season's openings are far more memorable than the actual ost within the season lmao
I’m really disappointed in the ending. I feel like I don’t even have major criticism for as much stuff as other people but jjk was my personal favourite for so long and the ending really took that away. I hope he either fixes the ending somehow or doesn’t return to it.
i think s2 of the anime was way better than the manga and the extra added stuff to the anime that wasnt in the manga is why i rate it higher then the manga
Kashimo VS. Hakari will always be the best fight. Shame they both got sidelined in the final fight. Wafflehouse and Femboi Lover didn't get the fight they deserved.
8:33 What do you mean by scaling? You mean the characters shouldn’t be this strong or?? Because honestly especially for the Jogo part the building bit showed Jogos desperations picking up the biggest thing he could find and ramming it into SUKUNA that conveyed the atmosphere perfectly Jogo doing everything he could but SUKUNA smiling and laughing all the way through
Oh, that Yuki character was inspired by Aoko, right? I think it would be awesome if you got into the Nasuverse and covered it with the care it deserves. Too many "fans" spread misinfo because they're clearly not that informed. Again, whatever you do, as long as you're doing your best, do it! Otherwise don't bother...
@@TheRockerX For example, Megumi and Tsumiki. Megumi even though always being a calculating character and being able to stay calm and think ahead, isn't inffalible. When the entire reason for him to constantly be risking his life finally shows up, obviously he'll jump in joy without truly thinking of it, with the fact that supposedly Yorozu acted perfectly like her, that thought would never dawn on him. You must understand that Megumi is basically in a depression, his mother is dead, his father is dead (not that he cared rlly), his father figure is basically imprisoned and the only positive (in his eyes) to of finally happened is the comeback of Tsumiki. He is going to make that irrational decision and jump to the possibility of it being her instantly. On top of that, Megumi himself actually thought of that, albeit late. Also, reincarnated sorcerers is a relatively new thing. He wouldn't know what makes a sorcerer a reincarnated type, he just thinks that his sister is back. There's also the whole complaint about the stuff like the Sukuna vs Mahoraga fight or the Shibuya incident in general but its more like, theres been mass destruction shown in the manga, but in all honesty, not a lot of the destruction is shown how it happens, the fight does that. It shows Sukuna's contempt for life as long as he gets what he wants (which is to learn more of Mahoraga and to have fun). It wasn't "ignoring the rules of jjk" it was quite literally Sukuna letting loose for the sake of it, it didn't ignore anything, if anything it was just sudden. It showed Sukuna's lack of care for human life. Jogo using his lava hands as a means to possibly hit sukuna shows how he is running out of attack options and purely resorts into utter desperation and throwing shit at the wall to see which one sticks. Even if it looks cool and flashy, theres still reason behind it.
Yuki hate is just a failure to be literate. Her purpose in the Story is purely emotional she wasn't a plot device if you feel like her life was cut short and she had more to do it's because she did. That's mainly why Choso has to carry on each death has purpose. It's the entire point of Yuji's development and the core idea of JJK hence the whole Buddhism idea. Gojo is not supposed to have a cool death because he's literally a Buddha figure it's about the opposite of hype it's enlightenment. Jjk is trying to teach us not just entertain. Yuji's domain is not random either it gets forshadowing like every couple chapters.
No way you're this pretentious hahahaha Yuki is a failure of a character. What happened to her goal to end Curses? Nothing. Why she chose to train Todo? Nothing. What was her role as the Star Plasma Vessel? Nothing. Her only contribution is giving Choso fans someone to ship him with. Stop it. JJK fans need to get off their high horse when it comes to this story when the author not even gave his main character a name for his strongest technique. And had another villain get one-shotted after a comedy sketch. "JJK is trying to teach us, not entertain". Get over yourself.
Ngl I kinda liked the ending I mean it wasn’t the best and I agree some things could have been done better but overall for the anime it definitely gets a 7/10 for me
I blame the fans (mostly gojo stans) bc all he got from them was bitching and complaints and he started to hate his fans so he wanted it done asap so he rushed. He even said that he gave us this ending bc he hated us. Conclusion, it’s all bc of a small group of assholes that the story and ending was ruined for us all. It’s really sad and it just sucks
I’ll be honest, gojo asking if the world had enough of Gojo Satoru is actually in character for him. His entire goal was to foster a generation of stronger sorcerers and we’ve been told multiple times that trying to compare yourself to others stunts your growth. Everyone compared themselves to Gojo which stunted their growth and so in death he knew that now they would have no choice but to surpass him But you are right the Sukuna raid felt anticlimactic, like Sukuna was such a walking calamity that even though the fight was ending I didn’t feel like Sukuna himself was actually on the verge of defeat
I like jjk 2 better becyase the art is not to much glossy and decent and in jjk 1 the art is kinda to much 3d (some scene) but in jjk2 the quality is kinda look low budget when sukuna vs jogo and sukuna vs mahoraga but its ok in my opinion
Today I bought from barnes and noble the chapters where Maki get busy, and the data book about the series up till 2018! But the. Series ended like shit as i said 2 years ago.
"That is Yorozu at the end." Never confirmed. Thank Gege for not having the balls to be clear. Well, it doesn't feel like a rushed, unpractical story. It is a rushed, unpractical story.
@@kevintanza6968 Maybe use context clues? Yorozu is at the same proportion of height to Uraume as that woman in the panel. Yorozu has the same black hair. Yorozu was from the same time period and Uraume and that woman are wearing clothing from the Heian Era. Yorozu puts her hair into a ponytail, just like that woman. Yorozu was another path for Sukuna, just like that woman is. Yorozu represented a less honest loyalty to Sukuna than Uraume, which would EXPLAIN that separate paths thing. Gege doesn't need to confirm shit. You just need to have the fucking eyeBALLS to see the obvious comparisons. Gege has the balls to put his fans' eyes to the test but clearly YOURS are too blind to see the obvious. It doesn't feel like a rused, unpractical story, nor is it one. You can claim it is all you like but ignoring the fact that the story goes by a PROPER ENDING TO MOST REGULAR STORIES, then maybe you should go back to English class to actually understand how the ending worked. Now don't reply if you're not gonna give an answer that isn't just you claiming shit without proper evidence. Shut up. No one wants your half baked opinion that clearly shows how much attention you paid in the manga.
Imagine complaining about having additional hype added to hype that fans wanted more of just for the sake of simplicity? Like I can’t understand where you’re coming from.
JJK is just dog shit writing. I wish it was better, but it's not, and it is what it is. Gege is on my no read list unless his new story is fully wrapped up, and people can vouch for the series having a good ending.
@jd7337 JJK does not focus on developing characters.. sets up plot points that go nowhere.. the MC of the series is not compelling.. only focuses on fights.. the fights are mainly one-sided.. riddled with plot holes.. and the gojo clan is a plot hole because we've never seen them, so they don't exist. The ending was dog shit and overall left the readers unsatisfied. In conclusion, Dog Shit series.
Idk man, this seems like a knee jerk reaction to the ending after it didn't satisfy all the things we wanted to see. Gojo was written really well in the manga, i firmly believe that all of his actions are in character, the gojo we saw throughout all of jjk who was constantly looking for someone as strong as him, someone who shared the pain that comes with being the strongest. And he got that with sukuna, he gave his praise to sukuna because gojo is a character who says what he thinks, and sukuna was nothing if not amicable to him at the end of their fight, with lines like "Satoru gojo, that is a name I'll remember for as long as i live" gojo could die happy and validated, so he returned the favor in the afterflife. Him saying "haven't we had enough satoru gojo?" in the final chapter is completely in character, remember the whole reason he was teaching at jujutsu high to begin with was so that he could create people more powerful than himself, he's never liked being the strongest, it's simply a role he was required to fill. Also, sukuna made 3 binding vows in the whole shinjuku showdown, that's really not all that many.
Great, Gojo got decent writing. The rest of the cast didn't. Again, the obsession with Gojo only shows that he is the only reason people give a damn about this series.
@@kevintanza6968 I talked about gojo because that’s what the guy talked about in the video. I believe that characters like Megumi, yuji, sukuna, kashimo, and more also had good and fulfilling character arcs.

As it should be
what a questionable take on the fights being longer and "straying from the source material"
its not straying far at all, just because they extended the fights and made them look insanely visually appealing doesnt make it "bad" or "mediocre"
no one wants to see the original sukuna vs mahoraga fight, it was extremely boring and ended in 2 chapters
Maybe there is going to be a sequel series to answer these questions and give some closure
*heaves another breath of copium from copium gas tank*
Words cannot express how angry it made me to not get any answers to any of the questions left hanging.
I just cant read akutami qgain after this.
I feel like geges thought was "the show will make this more clear"
Seeing the ending of jjk then now seeing a new chapter of hxh. Its just insane how better hxh is at character writing its just massive leagues above it
Gege is not a good writer.
I have to disagree with you saying s1 ost is better than than s2 ost.
In my opinion, a lot of the songs fit where they were placed like limitless cursed techique, if I am with you, Hidden Inventory, Vague reason among many others.
You forgot about the hollow purple and its theme from season 1
This is what I mean!! So many amazing songs from season 1, that were used for specific moments!
The mobile Gacha game looks better then cursed clash 💀
The change of the thumbnail 😭
btw gege confirmed he had everything planned as the first panel of chapter 1 is the exact same as the chapter 271 final panel
"oh but he made it up at the end" No, because the thing that held the finger is exactly pointing towards the north and the chapter was called "Ryomen Sukuna" symbolising Sukuna going north was always predetermined
That's not proof. Bro could've just looked back at the first panel and said "yeah this'll work" or knew what he wanted the final panel to be but not the rest of the ending.
@@ThisIsChris-Anime **
@@ThisIsChris-AnimeI think Gege only emphasis that Yuji and Sukuna were the same person but different path. The staff of MAPPA even show that Yuji and Sukuna soul become one after Jogo forcefeed Yuji with 15 finger. He tried to show that pathway of soul is Yuji's flashback by inserting same Yuji's dialog but Sukuna said it but people think other way. In chapter two, Even Yuji said kinda two faced.
That’s not how that works at all 😂
@@merikijiya13 Chinese and Japanese readers praise Gege's writings. They knew what we didnt know.
Stopped watching when he said that season 1 had better music than season 2. That is such a bad take
Its true though? Season 2 by itself doesn't have that many memorable tracks compared to season 1. Season's openings are far more memorable than the actual ost within the season lmao
what about JoJotsu Kaisen
You mean Lobotomy Kaisen
I’m really disappointed in the ending. I feel like I don’t even have major criticism for as much stuff as other people but jjk was my personal favourite for so long and the ending really took that away. I hope he either fixes the ending somehow or doesn’t return to it.
it was truly our disney kaisen
I like your take on this Chris. Very interesting
Yuta is the only living special grade
i think s2 of the anime was way better than the manga and the extra added stuff to the anime that wasnt in the manga is why i rate it higher then the manga
W
Kashimo VS. Hakari will always be the best fight. Shame they both got sidelined in the final fight. Wafflehouse and Femboi Lover didn't get the fight they deserved.
21:38 brooooo brooooo other than Yuji awakening, from Gojo death til the end shxt felt weird!!!
22:58 Agreed 😢
8:33 What do you mean by scaling? You mean the characters shouldn’t be this strong or??
Because honestly especially for the Jogo part the building bit showed Jogos desperations picking up the biggest thing he could find and ramming it into SUKUNA that conveyed the atmosphere perfectly Jogo doing everything he could but SUKUNA smiling and laughing all the way through
The anime is going to have a better ending for sure
Oh, that Yuki character was inspired by Aoko, right?
I think it would be awesome if you got into the Nasuverse and covered it with the care it deserves.
Too many "fans" spread misinfo because they're clearly not that informed.
Again, whatever you do, as long as you're doing your best, do it! Otherwise don't bother...
Honestly thats just as insult to Aoko ngl consider how Yuki was handled
Csm has better writing than jujutsu kaisen let's be honest
I mean, yeah. Fujimoto is a much more seasoned writer lol
I also agree with sukunas ending👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
It feels illegal to be this early🔥🔥
This video quickly just fell into illiteracy
How so?
> posts this statement about illiteracy
> will never expand on this point
Like always 😒
@@takeid123 not with that attitude
@@takeid123 he shut you up
Yuki hate is just a failure to be literate.
No way you're this pretentious hahahaha
Yuki is a failure of a character.
We have cases where the ending of the Anime was better than the Manga
Like Saiki K
Ngl I kinda liked the ending I mean it wasn’t the best and I agree some things could have been done better but overall for the anime it definitely gets a 7/10 for me
Cmon can we all move on about Gojo, he died a warriors death period
I blame the fans (mostly gojo stans) bc all he got from them was bitching and complaints and he started to hate his fans so he wanted it done asap so he rushed. He even said that he gave us this ending bc he hated us. Conclusion, it’s all bc of a small group of assholes that the story and ending was ruined for us all. It’s really sad and it just sucks
When did he say that?
Either give a source or shut up with your cope speculations
I’ll be honest, gojo asking if the world had enough of Gojo Satoru is actually in character for him. His entire goal was to foster a generation of stronger sorcerers and we’ve been told multiple times that trying to compare yourself to others stunts your growth.
Everyone compared themselves to Gojo which stunted their growth and so in death he knew that now they would have no choice but to surpass him
But you are right the Sukuna raid felt anticlimactic, like Sukuna was such a walking calamity that even though the fight was ending I didn’t feel like Sukuna himself was actually on the verge of defeat
Gojo is coming back next chapter y’all I have my sources
You talk about the whole jjk s1 and s2 is nice and also to be honest I don’t like s2 too much because they killed nobara and nanami
I may be the only lost here… I know it’s your opinion but season 2 was leaps and bounds better than season 1.
Where can I reach out to you so we can talk about business?
I have an email
I like jjk 2 better becyase the art is not to much glossy and decent and in jjk 1 the art is kinda to much 3d (some scene) but in jjk2 the quality is kinda look low budget when sukuna vs jogo and sukuna vs mahoraga but its ok in my opinion
maybe the anime adaptation will improve on the ending (coping)
Today I bought from barnes and noble the chapters where Maki get busy, and the data book about the series up till 2018! But the. Series ended like shit as i said 2 years ago.
A lot of what your saying is, "It feels" instead of, "It is."
Also, that is Yorozu at the end.
"That is Yorozu at the end."
Never confirmed.
Shut up. No one wants your half baked opinion that clearly shows how much attention you paid in the manga.
it fell off ngl
I gotta say, I started with the Manga in the Culling Games. And I just didnt understood jack shit lmao

in the fourth section of the vid, you miss spelled 'perfect.'
Basing most of your fame off of jjk only to say "it was generic, whatever series" is crazy work
Jobless comment
Good
14:45 as a all time megumi defender my excuse is love blinds all.
Jjk writing is not dog shit, its just average/to slightly above average
@jd7337 JJK does not focus on developing characters.. sets up plot points that go nowhere.. the MC of the series is not compelling.. only focuses on fights.. the fights are mainly one-sided.. riddled with plot holes.. and the gojo clan is a plot hole because we've never seen them, so they don't exist. The ending was dog shit and overall left the readers unsatisfied. In conclusion, Dog Shit series.
Gege ruined JJK. This was the worst manga I’ve ever read. The art was atrocious
hi
The reason why it ended this way because we kept on pushing him so much.
You lost me on how you feel about Megumi like he just wanted to get his sister out of the culling games
We dont need to look if it was good. We only have to ask ourselves if we enjoyed it.
Let's not act like you've got any literacy ability here lol 😂
Using "literacy" when discussing stories in big 2024 is a sign of being a pretentious moron.
8:54 that just sounds gross
Like what? The directors should have just gone around the insane amount of work we all know the animators had 2 do
If you said I understand why but I just don’t like it I would have got it but the way you put it was just gross
It was bad atleast for me
