When I was deciding my first army to build I was gonna do Nords until my friend told me about “the Orcs riding Dinosaurs”. I’ve been dumping money into the W’adrhun ever since.

This is the first battle I’ve ever witnessed for Conquest, and dang my perception on the 100K has really changed! I thought they’d be wrecked by every other army. Glad to see the games are so heavily decided based on tactical maneuverability over sheer stats!
Like those highly strategically aimed fire balls you mean... Game seems fun but not high on the strategy ladder. I have seen those wizards break more than a few battles.
@@UnkaStunka also the reinforcement system. Looks fun but I wouldn't use it. Not being able to bring in certain units because I can't roll 5 or 6's seems lame.
@@Remixersoloman You can always bring them, even heavies, they just might come later, or you gotta buy for some points special abilities on your character, such as Loyalty or Flank to ensure units come exactly when you want them. It's the list building part of the plan that pays off during the game.
@@Remixersoloman the reinforcement system is integral to the game and what makes conquest unique.
@@Remixersoloman It actually makes for way better games - as your entire army isn't being shot off the board turn 1.

A friend of mine got me into this game, I’m working on a Nords army right now and it’s just so amazing.
How difficult is it to play?
@@jaketaber6982 Not very. Pretty easy rules though the why they explain it can be confusing in some situations. However there are tons of people out there who have your back if you need info or advice.
Im looking at it, im just not sure i need another army and game. My wife would definitely say I don't (but doesn't actually care). At last count I had 23 armies across 7 war games. And that's not counting smaller boxed games like man-o-war, kill team, xwing, armada, and others.
It's shocking how much you can collect in 27 years. Should probably catalog my hundreds of sprues of shame. Some of my unopened stuff goes back to early 90's metal Fantasy models.
Its a terrbly expensive hobby to love.

@@chayimweinstock443 its also incredibly rewarding though. I love coming home after work, eating supper, and then painting for an hour or so a few times a week. Seeing models ive painted on the table when im playing is a lot of fun.
WOW! This was so well done. Really loving the pacing choices and the flow in general. I think y'all did phenomenally in keeping a brisk momentum, while not losing out on any information on the viewer's end.
The one thing that may need to be communicated is attack and armor rolls being based on lower rolls being better? It ended up being clear to me, once I thought about it, but it may be a nice tooltip window to edit in!

Great game. The energy levels in the room is electric with Tycho and Nick. I was looking at Kings of War for a fantasy ruleset, but ill check out Conquest as this looks amazing. Thanks for the vid!
Yeah I bought a starter for KoW, then saw this game. This game looks vastly more interesting and tactical.

do we need an intervention for nick and his highly unlikely strategies that require numerous good dice rolls?
I feel like even with insane dice rolls they wouldn't work the way he imagines - he seems to simply ignore his opponent having activations too!

Try a 6x4 table next time. it makes more room to maneuver. That’s how most of us play.

I have 4 tables in my game room, and I made them all so they vould play anything up to 6'x4', because rank and flank desperately needs the space.

i really like the square bases that let the round bases fit in them is a nice touch and might make some for my space marines

I like the scale of the models. They feel doable to paint to me with my potato hands and sausage fingers.
