      Hmm..I think it's Opium..not so sure..but China was famous for its Opium use in ancient times. Although I'm South Asian..closer to India but Chinese Opium was pretty known even here.

      @@jimtim8805 Didnt opium in china got widespread during the british time?

      osama zafar Hmm..maybe. As far as I know they spread more during British rule..as the Brits used it as a business and started cultivating it. Whereas the Chinese used it as drug..don't know if they used it for business back then. And Viking series is quite historically inaccurate so don't know if this sort of thing ever happened.

      +Ana Hriscu I was puzzling over that too. I think it may have something to do with Floki. Floki is going to be the next seer. I don't know if Floki he has to lose his eyesight when he becomes a seer, but it's a possibility. Apparently the future plans for the series involve Floki a lot as a central figure.

    This was the best season of Vikings. This was when Vikings was at it's peak, the drama, the new characters, the action, the outcome that was very hard to predict. Loved it. But my only gripe is that after Ragnar and his army are forced to retreat by Rollo and the Franks, they're awkwardly sitting on their boats on their way back home. Then we just fast forward a dozen years later. I think we should had seen them return to Kattigat, and see Ragnar run away from his kingdom and go into hiding. Because he's too frustrated and too embarrassed to admit that he failed again. His family and friends try to find him, but they never find him so they just accept that's he has gone. Bjorn and his half siblings have to man up and become the new rulers of Kattigat without him. THEN we fast forward a dozen years later, and see the little boys grown up. Nevertheless, Season 4 part 1 was the best one.

    Sadly, the show has jumped the shark. So far the quality of the writing, acting, directing are getting worse. Is this what we're getting for this 20-eps season? I'd rather have 10 eps but improved quality than this!

    • @themudpit621
      @themudpit621 8 лет назад +3

      +Sherborne Prometheus I really disagree. I think this season has been the best written of them all - I've found it increasingly compelling.
      I see no change in the acting except that I don't like Torvi's casting, but I never did, so it hasn't changed.
      I have not noticed the directing, and that's the way I like it. The only time I noticed the directing in this show was when they did that shot of Aslaug's eye turning into a shield, and I didn't like it, but that was season 2.
      Anyway, I do like your turn of phrase "jumped the shark", I've never heard it before! Is that a local saying where you are from? cheers :)

    Made this should really be a shamed of themselves! It is very techie and has nothing to do with the truth they were not there personally.
    'But god is Oden you are god be your own power from within. You will have a lot better life and save 10% of your time. And that really adds up over an entire lifetime just think about it. And have done to learn to read for a change? Because the Nordic gods and goddesses were the best. Truthfully if you could prove something else we would know it by now.
    There's no reason to waste your time ,and money on gods that has never answered not one prayer. Be your on Shining light do something for humans around you, for a change besides wasting your time, and finding a scape goat.
