Thank you Chrissie, if you watch one of Corrine's video she has heaps of ideas. It can be very daunting to know what to do sometimes, but your very talented you should do great. Hugs Susanna xx 😄♥️🧵🪡
So each section may have a different kind of path ? How clever , did you paint your house . . Wonderful idea to have the house in the center to begin . Mine is a fabric book with down the garden path on the cover with an arch the path goes under .
Hello Mary, l did paint the house it was a stamp then l painted it in watercolours, lm also painting the path too, then stitching it in. Hugs Susanna xx 😄♥️🧵🪡
Wow.. Your piece is already looking fabulous! I’m just getting started on mine & still haven’t fully decided on my vision for this one yet. I appreciate you sharing your ideas.
Your fabrics are lovely. That vine embroidery is such a perfect fit! I'm still debating on how to even start this whole thing...so many terrific options!
Because I don't have much in floral fabrics, I opened a suitcase of goodies to see how many of the table runners, napkins etc have flowers on them and I spent the afternoon ironing all of them, separating things, etc.. and I found a white material that is fairly sheer with what looks like pebbles in it! So I have my pathway at least!
Hello Rae, using vintage doilies is the best way to create something beautiful and floral, and it is appreciating someone else work too. Hugs Susanna xx
It’s winter here in Canada and this morning we went out and the frost was all over the trees looking so beautiful so I’ve decided I need to start with winter and try to replicate what I saw this morning …might be interesting …loving yours so far
If your flowers don't fit next prompt leave them cos you can go back and forth along the path, your work is very beautiful and inspiring... My wild flowers are at the end of my path not the beginning as I want a gate at the end of the path that opens to a wild garden or meadow I finally decided. And then I can add butterflies and bees too. Hope I am skilled enough to produce what I see in my head,
Thanks you Vanessa, l was thinking that too, if the prompt doesn't work, l will just continue down the path. It is going to be great looking at so many different and beautiful designs. Hugs Susanna xx 😄♥️🧵🪡
