At Sasuke's peak (his adult self) he can match most forms of Madara, but If you mean the Juudara that was unceremoniously written out of the story, that level of Madara is the strongest being in the series. At the very least, Madara can outlast Sasuke in any form, which is probably why it won't be a very long match since Sasuke for sure would be going to heavy based attacks that consume chakra. I'm not saying Sasuke doesn't have chakra to spare, but compared to the host of 10 tails and God tree…..Adult Sasuke is like a baby rat trying to fight a full grown cat and that's only because Kishimoto made Madara to be the monster that he is at the end.

I keep seeing this so I just wanna put in my 2 cents. In terms of favoritism, I find them both equally cool characters. I don't really like one over the other. They both did some really awesome and terrible things, so this fight is really a 50/50 toss up to me (yellow/orange mask version of obito only, no kyuubi) depending on if itachi can catch obito in one of his one hit kill moves. Obito is definitely physically stronger and durable, especially because of zetsu cells and itachi's illness. I think it's safe to say his ninjutsu is a bit stronger as well. But based on the fights of them we've seen I think itachi has a pretty good chance of fooling obito if he goes into the fight hidden with a plan. I think Obito's fight with Konan really drove that point home, that the guy is insanely strong and durable but not unbeatable with a decent plan/basic understanding of kamui. Itachi has known about obito since he was a kid and obito killed his team mate, so it's safe to assume that Itachi has at least one counter to kamui since he's seen it many times from when he was a little kid. His IQ is nearly equal to Minato's, who deduced what kamui is and how to counter it after seeing it once. Based on all that I still feel like the odds going into the fight are still 50/50 until obito gets the rinnegan

Sasuke wins because he went up against Momoshiki (who was already said to be stronger than Kaguya in base form) with an absorbed kinshiki inside him and eight tails and 9 tails chakra. Kaguya was also stated to be stronger than Madara . Sasuke was also weakened due to having to teleport everyone and so was naruto as well and they still bodied. Plus his teleportation is broken now lol it can switch places with anything. Madara was having some trouble with the weaker Sasuke who was just learning his new abilities.

"Kimishimoto himself said Itachi could beat Madara" is a myth. Either a myth or a horrible misinterpretation by fans. There isn't a single source on the internet saying that Itachi would beat Madara and on top of that Sasuke might have been on par or slightly weaker than Itachi when he killed him but near the end Sasuke greatly surpasses Itachi. After Madara's death the only one who can defy Sasuke is Naruto.

Itachi is like my favorite character but we have to face the fact that obito is just way stronger.
I keep seeing this so I just wanna put in my 2 cents. In terms of favoritism, I find them both equally cool characters. I don't really like one over the other. They both did some really awesome and terrible things, so this fight is really a 50/50 toss up to me (yellow/orange mask version of obito only, no kyuubi) depending on if itachi can catch obito in one of his one hit kill moves. Obito is definitely physically stronger and durable, especially because of zetsu cells and itachi's illness. I think it's safe to say his ninjutsu is a bit stronger as well. But based on the fights of them we've seen I think itachi has a pretty good chance of fooling obito if he goes into the fight hidden with a plan. I think Obito's fight with Konan really drove that point home, that the guy is insanely strong and durable but not unbeatable with a decent plan/basic understanding of kamui. Itachi has known about obito since he was a kid and obito killed his team mate, so it's safe to assume that Itachi has at least one counter to kamui since he's seen it many times from when he was a little kid. His IQ is nearly equal to Minato's, who deduced what kamui is and how to counter it after seeing it once. Based on all that I still feel like the odds going into the fight are still 50/50 until obito gets the rinnegan

Tbh I think itachi 2nd because masashi kishimoto said that he killed itachi because he knew he would easily beat madara and also zetsu even said as long as itachi has totsuka blade and mirror of yata he would remain invincible then theres shisui at 1st because itachi admits that shisui is stronger than him, shisui and madara are the only ones that dont need both mangekyou sharingan eyes to use susanoo, itachi also said that shisui is the best genjutsu user, shisui is also almost as fast as minato and was the youngest uchiha to unlock mangekyou at age 7 with itachi unlocking it at age 13

"Kimishimoto himself said Itachi could beat Madara" is a myth. Either a myth or a horrible misinterpretation by fans. There isn't a single source on the internet saying that Itachi would beat Madara and on top of that Sasuke might have been on par or slightly weaker than Itachi when he killed him but near the end Sasuke greatly surpasses Itachi.
After Madara's death the only one who can defy Sasuke is Naruto.

In my opinion itachi is a very strong character but he is not the strongest he is stronger than sasuke when he killed Danzo but he was totally dying of his sickness then we see him fight naruto and bee later when he gets reanimated.
