I really want them to have it in console, it has so much more customization and I just love the habitats you can make, and it’s really unfair that you can only get it on computer

I pretty sure if a lot when I say a lot of people around the world ask for it to be on console it will work and I think prehistoric planet should also be on console
Alright so as someone who is very active within the planet zoo hardcore community here is everything we know
The devs and community managers have talked about the console port over the past year. A news publication came out with a past dlc in 2022 that talked about it as well. The answers are all the same. Planet Zoo is a game that is still underway with their develop and nurture strategy and they have no plans on stopping at the moment. Which means console isn't coming until the pc dlcs are done (predicted to be around Summer 2024)
Also we know that from some devs that planet zoo isn't going to come out until there is a console strong enough to run high Animal count zoos. They've talked about this in the past that even the series x and ps5 rn could only handle so many animals and that they want players on console to be able to experience larger zoos as pc can.
So with everything wr know the common guess amongst our community is a Fall 2025 at the earliest and 2028 at the latest for a release date. It all depends also on the specs of the next console slated to release sometime in 2025. But the true next wave of the Next Gen or consoles like PS6 won't come out till 2028 so you might have to wait till then but highly unlikely

That's some bs saying ps5 can't run it. There just ain't no way these mfs made a game that can only be played on consoles in 2028
I really hope that Planet Zoo would have a console edition on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo because I am so tired of it still being on PC.

Frontier released JWE2 on all platforms including consoles at the same time on launch so why can’t this amazing game be released?!
JWE2 is a complete potato compared to the complexity of PZ.
I really hope that Planet Zoo have a console edition in the Xbox one, because Planet Coaster and Jurassic World Evolution 2 exist in Xbox One so I believe that if these two games (which are extremely similar to Planet Zoo, in terms of graphics or controls) could be run on last generation consoles, I believe and hope that Planet Zoo will be released for these platforms, as it is more accessible for those who We don't have a lot of money.
Since making this video i have brought a steam deck and actually have planet zoo on it, I think before actually playing it i would have agreed with this comment but now after actually seeing it running - comparing it to coaster and JW2 cant be done. Zoo takes SOOOOOOOO much more processing power than either of them 2 games. Its difficult to explain how but trust me when i say im not even 100% a PS5 would actually run zoo effectively - certainly not without thinks being sacrificed
I really need this on a console. I just don't have the money to get a PC right now, and for those of you saying that I just need to save up for one, I'm a poor college student who barely has time to doordash. I have way too many payments to make for a PC, especially with how demanding I hear the game is on a PC.
Probably waiting untill all DLC has been released on pc first.

Honestly, at this point i'm past caring now. The game is already 4 years old. I've moved on. If they released it for console now i'd probably just wait for it to be on sale anyway rather than paying full price. The thought of giving them like £50 for a game that is already several years old just irks me.

I don't think this game will come to console as long as they still support it with new content. Jurassic world evolution came to the Switch only after the last dlc was releasen and Roller Coaster also only came to console after support ended.

I think if they do bring it to console then it will be next gen only as I don’t think first gen aka ps4 will run it very well? Just look how planet coaster runs on a ps4 it works but not as good as on a ps5(I don’t have one but you do Matty) so you know it runs better on it(with some glitches 😂)

I kinda feel like all the predictions are wrong. I don't think they're far along with planco 2, or planzoo console.
I think they are either making a planet water park. Or, maybe connecting all 3 like rct3.
Planet Coaster 2 was leaked to come out in Fall 2024 and frontier also confirmed a new planet game has been in development for a few years now

Honestly I prob wouldn’t buy planet zoo, just doesn’t seem like a game I’d be very happy playing as I’m not a big zoo enjoyer
