Reminded me how good a steak tastes in the first night up there. Good idea to bring it in frozen! I will give that a try.
To spruce up the pancakes try bringing wild rice and foraging wild blue berries. The wild rice goes great with fresh fish and, if you make extra in the evening, you can use it to make up some hearty wild rice and wild blueberry pancakes the next morning.

Don't forget filters for your Aero Press. I use one and they are nice. I would suggest practice using it a few times before you go.

At 2:15, how did you dry your venison burger? That looks so good!

Brown it in a pan then put it in a strainer and rinse it thoroughly with water. Rinsing it will remove any fat that may be on it. After rinsing, pat well with paper towel to remove as much water as possible. We lined our food dehydrator trays with parchment paper and put the burger in a single layer on the tray. Dehydrate it and package as you wish. Keep in mind if you do a pound of burger it shrinks down a lot. Divide accordingly. It is crispy and will poke through the sealer bags. We wrapped in parchment paper before vacuum sealing. It reconstitutes beautifully and you can season after that.
More info than requested but we dehydrate our peppers and onions as well and even dehydrated our home made pizza sauce which we ground into a powder. Just add water!

ps. My mind has exploded with your breakfast ideas! What kind of pancake mix did you bring?

Hungry Jack just add water. The kind that doesn't need eggs.

I have not seen that brand of pouch chicken before. What kind is it? Where do you get it? I have had Tyson's and not really a fan so I shy away from it.

I don't recall the brand but we bought it at cub foods. The video is a few years old and there might be more options now.

What’s the approximate weight of a load up like this?

I do not remember exactly. I thought it was around 12-15 lbs. This was excluding the steak we brought in.

Did you dehydrate/dry your own venison burger?
