GAME DESCRIPTION:
Super Contra is a run and gun video game by Konami originally released as a coin-operated arcade game in 1988. It is the sequel to the original "Contra" and part of the long-running "Contra" series.
In Super Contra, the story picks up one year after the events of the first game. The main characters, Bill Rizer and Lance Bean, are sent on a mission to neutralize an alien entity that has taken over an allied military base. The alien entity is revealed to be a continuation of the same alien threat that was thought to have been destroyed in the original "Contra".
Bill and Lance, equipped with powerful weapons, must fight their way through hordes of alien creatures and soldiers who have been taken over by the alien entity. They traverse various environments, including jungles, military bases, and alien lairs.
In the end, they confront and destroy the alien entity, saving the world once again from the alien threat. The game ends with our heroes being picked up by a helicopter, ready for their next mission.
