Its kinda hypocritical that Billie eilish who wears baggy clothes so that creepy men don't objectify her, has no problem objectifing and ridiculing men.
Coming from my female friends and family, women can be really mean. From the experiences I've been told of, they're often really mean to women who aren't inside of their friend group. Sometimes, even their friend group is toxic. Of course, men can be that way too, but in all of the close friend groups I've been a part of, guys are usually very inviting and non-judging. But again, that's my experience mixed with what I'm told by the women who I'm close to.
She literary wear men stuff while she insult other mens, it remind me of my ex who i brought a gift shirt, and while i got cheated on my ex worn that shirt on and acted like didn't knew me.
So true, everyone talks about women with eating disorders but no one talks about men who are always in the gym because they don’t think they’re muscular enough
Men get body shamed for not being in shape then get canceled for not accepting every woman no matter what her body looks like. This woman’s take is beyond ridiculous.
Society also likes to dick shame too. You should care abt someone for their personality and not the skin they were born in. (also suprise im a woman saying this. I see the hypocrisy in woman too thats why im friends with males instead of)
Billie is just telling it like is, as an aging overweight unemployed balding short man I’m sick and tired of the cat-calls and unwanted sexual advances from super models
as a construction worker of over 15 years, just a reminder that ive still never heard a single cat call. We have had rules like the 2 second rule, which is you cant stare at a woman for more than 2 seconds but anecdotally, and i could scrounge up some other testimonials if i had to subpoena people, never seen a cat call happen in real life.
@@paddington1670 I was being sarcastict, 🙂 I'm 55, and in the 1980s in Melbourne, Australia I have obsserved cat-calls and wolf whistles from contruction workers many times, I don't see it happening now though.
@@paddington1670 it does happen, it’s just far rarer (and far more harmless) than the popular narrative about it claims. I’ve been catcalled and my female family members have been, but I’ve never seen it happen around construction sites. My experience with them is that they’re either too busy or just don’t care. I’m sure it’s not helpful when climbing around on the roof of an apartment complex to allow oneself the distraction of whistling at some chick for the few seconds she’s in ear shot, to no personal benefit. The handful of times I’ve witnessed catcalling, it’s been from idiot boys and college guys accompanied by their equally stupid friends, likely for the purpose of eliciting laughter from the group. They’re not typically good looking, either, because good looking boys and college guys wouldn’t feel the need to catcall a girl for her attention. All of this complaining about such a non-issue is really just petty, catty childishness that is profoundly counterproductive.
I was bullied so bad for my weight being fat. I joke now but I went through so much pain growing up. Group of bullies who called me fat constantly threw me on the ground and kicked me around. Billie saying this really did hurt me
I'm sorry you were bullied. I was bullied too and called "ugly" by both girls and boys in grammar school and high school. I wrote a book about my experiences and now am happily married. Billie Eilish is a jerk. She's always judging people. She called her own mother "real old." Don't take her seriously. She doesn't like herself very much it seems.
If I was in your classmates, I would’ve got your back. I got bullied too for just chilling with my friends and having fun. Thing is, I was bigger than all of my bullies, and they mistook my kindness for weakness, you just need to snap one time and they will never think about it again. Seeing the fear in bullies eyes was so satisfying.
@Semi-Addict-Gamer So true! I grew up rough too say the least, and I remember the wall home too school was terrifying because groups would follow me home and beat me up. I finally snapped on all of them and they left me alone. sometimes you just have too stand up for yourself and you'll get left alone once people figure out you'll fight back
Billie was homeschooled she probably only knows a few girls who are nice, she’s have never been to public school so she doesn’t really know every girl. She probably knows good ones
Not just modern feminism, that’s the entire ethos of leftist ideology in a nutshell. Claim you’re the victim while exercising and having all the power.
Wtf are u on about. Okay maybe her take was too far by saying “nobody says anything about men”. But this is coming from someone who has been IMMENSELY criticised throughout her entire career. Guess what? It happened to Adele, Britney Spears, Taylor swift. And that’s not to discount any men who’s had the same but what u have to understand is Billie is talking about celebrity culture and the vast majority of intense body criticism has been women. It always has been.
Why would that be astonishing? Celebrities are almost as a rule out-of-touch midwits. This is exactly the sort of nonsense I would expect from someone like her.
Like hell. Men are crapped on about their appearance all the time! I have heard so many vile things said about men and to men about their appearance. It is crazy.
Yup. Its just that men are so used to being bodyshamed that they stop caring by the time they become adults. Most of my childhood friends' nicknames are based off their appearance, and non of them are very positive.

It's almost as if celebrities are just sheltered teenagers who managed to get rich without working or studying a day in their life. Maybe we shouldn't listen when they open their mouth considering they literally have no clue whatsoever about what the world is like. A random high schooler is legitimately more educated and experienced than billie eilish yet people don't make videos about "random high school student said this or that" because we acknowledge that they don't really have a clue at that age, celebrities should be treated exactly the same. Being a skinny guy on a dating app will only match you with big women WITH KIDS who will say NO SEGGS before marriage. Must earn six figures and accept my kids as his own.
Right off the bat I disagree with the sentiment that all girls judge by people's personalities and men are the ones who body shame women. To each their own, everyone has their own perspectives in life, but I've been judged for my body almost exclusively by women, not men. Gender wars are so stupid...
And men's judgement is usually for something under the woman's control. Women have a cut-off for height, he can't change that by cutting out some of the McDonald's.
There is no gender wars. This is a façade it’s biology. We’re meant to be together as men and women people need to read more books and less 2X chromosomes subs.

Which shaming someone for something they cannot control should be worse than shaming over something that can be controlled 90% of the time. The difference is men constantly get shamed about things they cannot control. Their height, their ability to grow facial hair, their voice, their facial structure etc.
Men are nicer btw. Women just have better PR. Men's aggression is more transparent, but bullying, child abuse, psychological torture, manipulation etc -- women are #1.

That's horrible af bro. A little on topic, but if being fat ever has a negative effect on your health, then I'd suggest losing some weight. I'm not saying it does, but hypothetically. It doesn't have to be a whole fat to 6 pack transition either. I went from fat to chubby due to some complications and I'm living my best life. I do want to get abs, but that's simply curiosity. I wanna see how my body would look toned
@ALJ9000 Thanks bro and don't worry about me. Patience is my forte. I've already planned out how I'm gonna go about things and I'll be using 2 years to completely focus on bodyweight exercises, for the sake of consistency. If I have the access then I'll do some compound Weighted movements.
Thank you talking about this Brett, as a short and slender man i feel very demoralised about being smaller and shorter despite the fact that i am strong and very capable but peope often mock me or look down on me or treat me like a child even though I'm 20. Neither women or men should be ridiculed for their body size or type but of course should be given constructive advice if their body is not in a healthy state, so when people tell me to eat me i don't get offended or if someone is overweight they shouldn't complain about being told they need to eat less and exercise more! Billie Elish is a brilliant singer but she is completely wrong on this, how can she be so unaware of the ridicule many men face in regards to their body?
I always viewed it as a kind of conspiracy, ... You see if I am the good looking skinny girl and I tell the fat chick to stay fat, I have no competition, while also not being bodyshamed if I myself become fat ... Edit : this is based on "Beauty standarts" may, or is currently shifting so ...
Actually that comparison is wrong. You’re saying society as in girls comment girls and the latter is girls comment man. That’s wrong. Men don’t give two crap about other men being fat. You’re just a fragile man. Workout, groom yourself buddy, don’t be so fragile
Its not a both sexes situation Men are held to much much higher standards. We dont just have to be thin: we have to be muscular. There are no fat characters in media, commercials, modeling. Only steroidal men are allowed.
as a guy, im letting you know that women in the dating world have it pretty tough if there overweight. no guy wants a fat girl. and I'm talking obese. like sub 25% everyone is fine with and its healthy but when your obese your having slim chances finding a guy
I’d actually agree that girls are nice, but niceness and kindness are very different things. Men tend to be honest and to the point, women will employ all kinds of word salad to criticize people. Sometimes this is done out of a well-meant place of not wishing to hurt someone’s feelings, other times it’s done to cover up their true cruelty. Being nice is really just being polite, being kind means you actually care. Honesty, even when it may hurt one’s relationship or social standing, is kind. Lying to someone’s face or at least hiding an important truth for the sake of peace, either one’s own or someone else’s, is nice. Men won’t lie to their male friend about his being fat. Women are far more likely to lie to a female friend about her body. To naive and world-ignorant people like Billie, this seems like being kind, but it’s not.
@@DannyDevitoOffical-TrustMeBro women are not nicer, and women tell me this all the time. They can be "nicer" on a very superficial fake level but women are fare more cruel to others than men.

Being a short man, I truly get pissed hearing this bs. I attempted suicide after my ex-wife left me when she got bored of me cause she grew a few inches taller than me after we were already married. Honestly, hearing stories like this reminds me why I stopped liking tall girls and would never date them regardless of their green flags. But this one definitely explains why I not only don't want to date but also never get married.
That’s horrible but yeah… like how young were you guys what do you mean? She grew a few inches taller after you got married lol? Like do people just grow and grow now at any age?
Exactly. Body positivity has nothing to do with men. When was the last time you saw some woman defending a fat man?. When did you see a fat guy on some boxer shorts or deodorant commercial? When was the last time you saw a plus sized mannequins in mens clothes store? I bet most of y'all think "never"
But you men also shame skinny women? I see this a lot especially skinny men spreading lies about how skinny women don't eat when they themselves are skinny and know that one can eat anything they want and as much and still be thin.
I've been dealing with this kind of thing almost everyday. But I can deal with it, I' am proud of who I' am and what I' am. I'm not ashamed of myself. I always live in a low profile life. But when those who bully me knows who the real me, they surely change their attitude and saying sorry for what they did to me. But I'm a forgiving type of men. Always welcoming them who want to be my friend, and always open to what they want to share. Again, I'm ugly and I'm proud 😉 I never seek revenge. Cause I was told, to love unto others. Great video Brett Cooper
Billie either never went to a normal middle or high school or she's just ignorant of society outside of her Hollywood bubble. Teenage girls can be vicious when it comes to making fun of people, especially other girls.
She was homeschooled, so yes. I want to cut her some slack here and say that in the environment she’s grown up in, it probably does feel that way. In the entertainment industry I do see more body shaming on women and especially on ridiculously young girls. It happens to men too, of course. But I think when it comes to women it’s more of a talk in the media also partially because the reactions to it are stronger. Idk I just see people scrutinize every detail of a gorgeous woman’s body while with men it’s usually limited to overall bodyweight (even there more is accepted than on women) and maybe height I guess. I haven’t seen many people be like “Oh this dude has such a flat ass tho. He’s so mid. etc.” but maybe I’m just blind lol. It definitely happens both ways but I think she probably based this on comparing her own experience to that of her brother. Which is admittedly a little flawed cause she was just way more in the spotlight than he was.
@@JustanotherRUclipsr771I understand your point and I agree that it happens a bit more to women, but towards men, it's a bit more complicated. A man is often judged by what's between his legs, even nobody can see it, people just use it as an insult. A man can also be labelled a creep just for the way he looks, for balding or because his beard is weirdly shaped. Criticism certainly happens more to women, but it's not as far away as it looks compared to the low blows a man can get.
@@JustanotherRUclipsr771 agreed, attitudes in entertainment are different when it comes to body image. It likely stems from the fact that men and women value different things in members of the opposite sex; men are very visual, they are more likely to immediately appreciate a woman for her physical appearance than a woman would a man. No doubt women like a handsome man too, it’s just that there are other things that need to be at play for a woman to regard a man. The role of celebrities will reflect this, as the majority of their allure comes from their looks. Female celebrities will therefore feel much more pressure from their audience to look good, whereas male celebrities could achieve the same level of appeal from members of the opposite sex by being rich, charismatic, etc. However, in regular life, men definitely experience a far more profound pressure from our society to measure up to highly strict beauty standards. For women, good makeup, a clean-ish diet, and cute clothes cover over a lot of “inadequacies” when it comes to our appearances, but it is not so for men. Other than working out, a lot of the standards men are held to regard immutable characteristics like height and the size of their genitals. They also don’t have the cheat code that is makeup. Working out is also a much harder task than anything expected of women. It didn’t use to be this way, even just 20 years ago women had it a lot worse in this area. However, attitudes have flipped strongly very fast.
This is such an old video, old news. And she wasss in fact referencing an old fling she had had, basically saying he’s lucky to have dated her cause he ain’t all that. Agreed, not the right thing to say, but I think most girls know what it can be like after a young breakup. It’s not that deep.
@kailahprice6792 Expect she made an insulting and generalised statement. If she was talking about a specific moment that happened to HER in HER life, she should have just said that.
I recently had a girl I am fwb's with say she "loves my dad bod" when im literally 6'5 , 230lbs, and 13% body fat, im built like an nfl quarterback. so even 13% body fats considered a dad bod apparently. also went on a date with a girl from a dating app once, and she said im lucky because she "usually only dates guys over 6'6"
They did social experiments to debunk the dadbod myth. It turns out women believe a dadbod is 13-16% bodyfat instead of +20%. So yeah, women still hate chubby and fat dudes
I just adore growing up in a world with so much hypocrisy. People are so blinded by their emotions, and not what’s real. And then people will literally do ANYTHING to justify them. Edit: Thank you for the likes! I appreciate astute people with their heads on straight. ❤
That's because those who are hopeless are the easiest to control. When they find something to cure their void, regardless if it's wrong and immoral hope, they tend to fight anything who opposes it. This applies to the people Brett has covered on this channel. Look how most of them are hopeless and broken. They will fight tooth and nail for this false hope. All you can do, is pity them and most importantly... ignore their evil.
Most women always say things out of feelings then immediately counteract their own point in the same statement ! That's why men prefer when women say less because they usually embarrass themselves
This really pisses me off because I am a man who is underweight. I’m not sure why, I’ve tried many things but nothing changes. I have gotten bullied and made fun of for years, by men and women alike. This is incredibly messed up and untrue. Disgusting.
I'm not an expert, just someone (f) who was nearly underweight for a long time. I needed years to gain a bit weight and every time I'm sick it kinda hurts to see that I loose it easier than I gain it. I'm mostly surrounded by well meaning people but it's exhausting when everyone is overly interested in what you eat and repeatedly tells you you are thin. It is as bad as being mocked because I can't easily tell my nice collegues off and have to bear it. When you already tried a lot then go to a doctor that is an food and nutritient expert. They can test how much fat and protein percentage your body has and tell you what to eat. Furthermore you should look into problems relating to digestion. I'm sure a general doctor could tell you where to go to let certain biological matter be tested. I wish you all the best! Don't give up!
I used to be too then I put on almost 80 lbs after working out and increasing the calories. 80 lbs was too much so I dropped some of it. I started lifting using the starting strength method and doing GOMAD and eating 3 big meals a day. Right before bed I would make a protein shake in the blender with 2 scoops of protein and 16 oz of whole milk and add in other stuff like a banana, peanut butter, chia seeds, honey, sometimes coconut oil and the shake itself was usually between 1000-1200 calories. I would drink that then go lay down because it was so filling it made me feel nauseous. I would often eat until I felt uncomfortable. For every meal I would try to eat between 800-1000 calories plus that big shake before bed with my goal being between 4000-5000 calories a day. It wasn't easy at first but I worked my way up to it.

Tell me how exactly wearing lingerie turns a person into an object? Objectifying is more than sexualizing. It’s seeing the other person as nothing more than an object that only exists for your satisfaction. Is she sexualizing herself when posing in lingerie? Yes. Objectifying? No.
@@JustanotherRUclipsr771 If someone is scared of being objectified then they won't do something like that, sexualization and objectifycation are not as disconnected as you might think, quite the opposite in fact, they are interwined. I didn't read that she was scared - only that she didn't want it. Billie is someone who seems too care a lot about how she is perceived by others. @@EssentialBlueobjectifying oneself does just as much damage as having it happen externally, except that the former is a choice and the other, in the case of celebrities, is unavoidable. By treating oneself as an object of sexual desire one still instills into oneself the attitude of needing to be sexually desirable in order to be worthy, except that one may not even notice this attitude change, as it happens subconsciously. It is far more easy to combat such an attitude if sexual objectification is imposed on you by strangers. In fact, self-objectification _enables_ others to do the same to you, because you present yourself to the lowest dredges of society as someone on their level. Such treatment may not have happened to her on such a great scale of she hadn’t bared her newly 18-year-old body to a world full of creeps for the explicit purpose of being looked at sexually, when those creeps may have felt more societal pressure to keep their morally repugnant opinions on a barely-legal young woman covert. Any time you hear a song by a woman that you think is actually good, if you look it up in wikipedia you'll see it was written or co-written by a man. At most the woman came up with the lyrics while the man came up with the music, and it's the music that stands out. Most men aren't outliers and don't stand out above women, but the few people who are really standouts in their fields are all men, so they rise to the top. Then feminists point at them and complain that it's not equal.
As a 15 year old boy in high school I can say for a fact we are just as insecure and ridiculed about our bodies. There are a lot of not “nice girls” and half of them hate men from birth at this point. Half of the girls I know have become bisexual or even lesbian because of how much they hate guys. A lot of girls I know have not dated me for my body. This is one of the worst takes I’ve ever heard period and I have no idea how some of these people think to come to these conclusions. And I go to the gym regularly and am a fit person. And for all the people saying you only 15, yes I know that. Me saying I’m 15 only shows how ridiculous it is for the 15 year old girls to be hating men when they’ve barely ever dated them)
As an almost 50 year old man, I find the whole "I'm a lesbian" thing amongst young women quite bizarre. That girl that you like, who claims she's a lesbian will grow up, marry a guy and have kids by the time she's 30. The whole "gender" bullshit is like Pokémon trading cards - a fad that kids grow out of. What's really concerning is the whole transvestite ideology, where young men and young women are mutilating their bodies. There's no coming back from that.
Hang in there my guy. You will grow into your body and as you get older, it'll become far less of a priority- for both yourself and for attracting women.
Women get triggered when they're judged by their weight (something they normally do have control over), but feel perfectly comfortable judging men by their height (something they DO NOT have control over).

While female models we seen almost everything from plus sized women to skinny women with all them different height.
It’s not just weight tho. It’s body shape which people, especially men, often confuse with weight and therefore think you have perfect control over. Women get shamed for their ass, their boobs. their hips, thighs etc. All of these things aren’t really naturally controllable, or only to an extent. But yes, men also need more love and less judgment when it comes to their bodies.
“Ugly men are shamed for their appearance constantly.” This is so true. Just the other day, I heard one guy shout to his fellow employee, “Put your mask back on, you’re scaring everybody!” Like, sheesh.
Like most women, Billie doesn't see when men experience negative stuff in life. We are expendable so our misery doesn't show on the radar. Men aren't even crying about this so we don't gaf about "body shaming". Only a woman will cry about being called fat when she *is* fat.
because young girls listen to her, the things she says they will take as truth. That's why people care. When young celebrities say stupid things as if it's true gullible idiots believe them. And lets face it, the majority of her fans are children and children are gullible easily brainwashed by media idiots.
she is famous but she doesn't get to say whatever she pleases. she cares cuz she gets body-shamed all the time and she is just projecting. How many of her fans do you think are fat men and ugly?
I dare to say that women are even more judgmental about men’s looks than men are about women. When I was in my 20s I had put black and white pictures on a dating site and there were several girls who contacted me and complimented my appearance. I had nice online contact with a number of ladies and it seemed that they were interested until they asked for a color photo. Most of them cut me off immediately after they found out that my natural hair is reddish. “Sorry I don’t like gingers” was the usual response. I am not even a pale ginger, I have dark eyes and my skin is not very light. If you don't check all the boxes, you can forget about it with most girls
Thank you for giving me another perspective over body dysmorphia. I just realized I waged those misconceptions and I'm so sorry for any man I have ever judged in my life. We are all beautiful ❤ Still love Billie's music tho. But she's human and must learn, just like I did today
I am a "mature" woman (as in retirement age). Weight has never been a problem for me until after menopause. I didn't put on a lot of extra weight, but I did find it was easier to gain weight and harder to lose it. The reason I say this is because I have worked my entire life and have found that women can be shallow and show greater prejudice and disrespect to others, especially to other women. One of the reasons I retired when I did was because my male manager was replaced by a female manager who I had already worked with. Before she was my immediate supervisor, she already had the mindset that I was her personal assistant so when she was actually made my immediate supervisor, I decided it was time for me to retire. Which I did within the first year of her promotion. I would much rather work for a man than a woman because a woman can be so catty and petty!
Just the facts that Billie eilish is in her early 20’s, grew to this young adulthood in Hollywood of all places, was homeschooled by parents who both worked in Hollywood, and has lived in the Southern California bubble her whole life should make it abundantly clear that any opinion on regular culture she gives comes not from a place of knowledge, but hubris. She has no point of reference. She’s used to the strange, artificial bubble of Hollywood culture that exists almost wholly divorced from the life of regular people. She’s never worked a regular job under either a male or female boss, has never attended a regular school with her own peers, hasn’t even been exposed to these things by watching her parents engage in regular working life. She’s as privileged as anyone could possibly get. Being a celebrity does subject her to far more scrutiny concerning her body, yes, but this is not at all the same for us regular women and girls. She ignores the very real and rampant vitriol regularly spewed against men for their immutable characteristics for the unforgivable offense of not being the modern woman’s perfect mental ideal of a male object. I despise celebrities taking it upon their privileged, soft, spoiled shoulders to lecture the people whose money they live off of on all manner of topics they know nothing about.
I saw my older brother get bullied because he grew up fat and also seen him be praised and celebrated after he lost weight and is now muscular.... Billie is honestly so chronically online
Thanks for talking about the body dysmorphia among men Brett. I'm what would be called "in good shape" to most people but many of my peers are slightly overweight and are very insecure about it yet they have no support. If we are going to have a body positivity movement we need men to be included in this.
"Nobody says a thing about men's bodies." No, they definitely do. The difference is all in how they tend to take it. Women, and I say this as a woman, will typically break down, internalize it, or possibly wage war on whoever said it, dragging the whole scene out. Men will typically say, "Haha, yeah, you right" and because they don't drag it out and make a scene, people forget and move on. Nobody comments on Jack Black's body anymore because he always took those comments in stride and let his talent do the talking, but I definitely recall early on in his career when he was constantly called schlubby and unattractive. But you always hear about Lizzo's body because she _constantly_ brings it up herself. Now, that being said, bodyshaming ain't right on either side, no matter how you take it. And it's no lie that women do sometimes get the short end of the stick when it comes to that, or at least it was more common in the past. But to make such an outrageous claim that nobody says a thing about men's bodies? Get real. That's so wildly off the mark.
everything you said was true except for the part where you said women sometimes get the short end of the stick, they literally don't. body dysmorphia is a male and female problem through and through.
Hey Brett, I just did a project about you for health (it was about someone who inspires you and who you have a lot in common with) and I got a A! So thanks (I’m canadian in middle school so the grading systems are a bit different here.).
I was a kid in school of the early 90s and I was always pretty skinny and also because of my crooked hips I got bullied ok a daily basis and struggled a long time to overcome this trauma. I still have nightmares about those years and a hard time getting to know people because this basically shaped my entire life.
People talk about how so many people have them body image issues, so the fact Billie would want to create more insecurities for people, men, is so awful.
As a man under 6', having a dad bod, and not yet making 6 figures I can honestly say the harshest critics I've encountered have been women, even the 'plus sized queens'. For someone who wears baggy clothes so she isn't judged for her figure she certainly pulled out the hypocrite card on this one.
Theae days with social media and how much attention below average women can get without much effort skews their ability to view men accurately. Its so common for women to say "i don't care about looks because I'll go for the average looking guy I have chemistry with". But all of her ex's are 7/8+ because she thinks attractive guys are average because those are the only ones they notice. Meanwhile 43% of female dating profiles have their height setting for 6ft +.
Watching plus sized people lose weight and being fit is the best thing to watch, it’s empowering and very motivational to see someone change their life for the better. Pushing people to live unhealthy is a crime imo let’s spread positivity around and help eachother to become the better version of ourselves
"Watching plus sized people lose weight and being fit" - that's what body positivity was originally about. Then it got hijacked by enemies of the people.
Thank you Brett for pointing out the things men get shamed on. Personally, I don't like Billie Eilish's music. And normally I wouldn't mention this because I do not like shaming people's bodies but, personally I don't even think Billie Eilish is attractive. I say that because it seems to me that sometimes Billie Eilish acts like a hot mean girl, not only because of what she says but because of how she acts after she says these things. I also think she is one of the weakest female celebrities that I heard of but hey, just my opinion. There are so many famous female singers that I love to listen to, and in some ways I even look up to because of the power and message of their music. To name a few; Ella Fitzgerald, Celine Dion, Cher. To be fair, Billie Eilish is only 22 so maybe her outlook will change in the future. I just hope her outlook on shaming Men doesn't get worse because millions of younger people listen to her. With all that being said, I wish Billie Eilish the best. One of my favorite quotes, "Hate begets hate; violence begets violence; toughness begets a greater toughness. We must meet the forces of hate with the power of love." - Martin Luther King.
I’m really glad you’ve touched on this topic with her. She has said quite a few hypocritical things in the past pertaining to this subject. It makes me so frustrated as woman who tries her best to not be a victim constantly in this world, this is the exact thing that keeps the cycle of toxic feminism going. AND especially since her main audience is so young.
I can’t believe the part of the quote saying woman don’t care cuz they r nice. I have been more body shamed by women than anyone else Especially cuz we see women being SUPPORTED for different body times, while men “who don’t deal with body shaming” get no representation in media Imagine a male celebrity going around saying “I can’t believe this rlly good looking guy is with such a fat/ugly girl”. They would get cancelled IMEDIATLEY
Ya I always hear women talking down men because of their bodies. It’s not a man/women issue it’s a personality issue that’s not gender exclusive. She got famous young and lacks the experience to know what people are truly like
My first job was in a food establishment in the local mall. From behind the counter, I saw a ton of couples. What I learned is that no matter what you look like, there is somebody out there who finds that attractive. Trust me, I'm from the South, and I see a lot of "less than beautiful" people regularly, who are happily coupled off.
I had a coworker ( white F) divorce her husband ( White M) of only two years because he was fat. she herself was 200ish lbs and 5 ft 3 ish. the hypocrisy and stupidity never ceases to astonish me
When I saw this post on Twitter and read the entire post, I literally had to think to myself, I was like, " There are a lot of people who think this way and the more I read something like this, the more I begin to realize that there are so many people who are very disconnected and don't know what's going on in the real world " 😲
I've been on the end of body shaming by women for most of my highschool life cause I was a little bit over weight and not like Apollo or a jock. Most of the girls I did end up dating got to know me. Women can objectify just as quickly as men sometimes even worse from what I've seen cause I did have a lot of girls that where friends in high school as well. I find beauty not only on looks but personality as well someone who sits there and on their high horse being a hypocrite does not make you attractive shaming others but talking about being samed is crazy. For those who are put down and don't think they will find love it will come someday I thought I would never find someone but I've been with my wife for 17 years married for 12 of them. By the way Brett if you do see this my daughter loves watching you when she sees your name she says daddy is Brett Cooper love your values and that my daughter likes to watch you we need more good roll models for our society less cardi B and Kardashians more Brett cooper's.
My friend’s daughter 13 years old. 13 YEARS Old. Find it necessary to get vitamin C roll-on under eye face cream. Tell her that she is not getting it because she doesn’t need it. It’s like trying to take cub from a mama bear. It’s social media that pushes this fake rhetoric. at 13 these girls do not need the stuff no matter what anybody says
2:11 being “nice” doesn’t mean that women don’t discriminate against men’s bodies. In fact, every dating pod cast, snippet, SM post, or anywhere I have ever seen, when a woman is asked the question, “can he be obese”, every single time they said no.
You will probably not find many young female celebrity today that doesn't say stuff like this. They are all brainwashed in to thinking women are the only victims that exist and men are the ones doing everything to them.
I love how she slams "ugly" guys, first thing she needs to do is look in a mirror. I have seen dogs that have been hit by cars that still look better then her.

Also, what do "ugly men" look like?
Women always talk about how beauty is subjective, or "in the eye of beholder". So?
Those statements are several years apart. I guess it's still confusing though... But maybe she doesn't include herself in that "women are nicer"?
So true, everyone talks about women with eating disorders but no one talks about men who are always in the gym because they don’t think they’re muscular enough
Men get body shamed for not being in shape then get canceled for not accepting every woman no matter what her body looks like. This woman’s take is beyond ridiculous.
Society also likes to dick shame too. You should care abt someone for their personality and not the skin they were born in. (also suprise im a woman saying this. I see the hypocrisy in woman too thats why im friends with males instead of)
Men also get shamed for losing their hair and for not being 6’ or more. You know, things men have in their control
Yeah they also get body shamed by being short or not tall enough. Not even something they can change!

Just appreciate it, trust me, you'll miss it when it stops. The wall remains undefeated.

Schrödinger's feminism: a woman is simultaneously a victim and empowered, until something happens. Then she chooses which state benefits her the most.
It's just normal feminism/feminists..
Not just modern feminism, that’s the entire ethos of leftist ideology in a nutshell. Claim you’re the victim while exercising and having all the power.
Yeah, not all women subscribe to that line of thought. Maybe adjust the verbiage here to be feminists think this way, lol.

I’ll take things no one who went to middle or high school would say, Ken.

Being a short man, I truly get pissed hearing this bs. I attempted suicide after my ex-wife left me when she got bored of me cause she grew a few inches taller than me after we were already married. Now that I know I no longer have value cause of my height I get really annoyed at people saying men don't get body shamed.

Well you really shouldn't be marrying pre-pubescent girls.
Just so you know Billie, I was bullied as a kid because I was thin. Men suffer body shaming as much as women do. Take care.
Exactly. Body positivity has nothing to do with men. When was the last time you saw some woman defending a fat man?. When did you see a fat guy on some boxer shorts or deodorant commercial? When was the last time you saw a plus sized mannequins in mens clothes store? I bet most of y'all think "never"

But when those who bully me knows who the real me, they surely change their attitude and saying sorry for what they did to me. But I'm a forgiving type of men. Billie either never went to a normal middle or high school or she's just ignorant of society outside of her Hollywood bubble. Teenage girls can be vicious when it comes to making fun of people, especially other girls.
Fr, just teenagers in general are assholes but teenage girls? Ooooouuuu chileeee 😮💨
@@tasmeenbaker9912 Teenage girls are the worst in that regard.

It wasn't easy at first but I worked my way up to it.

love how she’s so outspoken about being scared of being “objectified” yet wears lingerie on the cover of a magazine as soon as she turned of age
Sexualization brings to objectifycation, that's how it works, many celebrities who did something like Billy were both sexualized and objectified, it's just how it works unfortunately.
I didn't read that she was scared - only that she didn't want it. Billie is someone who seems too care a lot about how she is perceived by others. Before the photo shoot they made her one time looking normal without baggy clothes an attraction. I'm sure she wanted to prevent a bad situation (like Emma Watson had) by showing herself with less clothes under her own rules. Objectifying herself as valueable and not overly sexualized in contrast to letting journalists decide the narrative
You’re missing the point. Until they meet women, especially in music, TV, movies, etc. are getting more attention right now. She certainly can sing and perform. But most people give all the credit to her because they think she’s writing the songs, etc. I didn’t say she didn’t play a part, but she would be nothing without him. That is just a fact. He could go in right and produce other people and produce hits as well. But they are not performers. He could go and be very successful with other people. Rafi she is where she is because of him.
For example, think of almost every popstar. I’m not talking Taylor Swift she writes most of her songs. But most women and even most guys that aren’t a part of a band that are just out there singing they don’t write their songs they don’t write the music they don’t produce it. They have songwriters they have producers. They have studio musicians. They’re simply the performer. The people behind them have success with many other singers. And the performer only has success when they’re given good material and they’re produced well and there are other factors those the record company support you do you have the right look the right image, etc. But there are dozens of people that could take that song and make it a hit. Performers are kind of a dozen. The creative genius behind it is much more limited.
Any time you hear a song by a woman that you think is actually good, if you look it up in wikipedia you'll see it was written or co-written by a man. At most the woman came up with the lyrics while the man came up with the music, and it's the music that stands out.

It’s not just weight tho. It’s body shape which people, especially men, often confuse with weight and therefore think you have perfect control over. Women get shamed for their ass, their boobs. their hips, thighs etc. All of these things aren’t really naturally controllable, or only to an extent.

She’s clearly a puppet to this whole body shaming stance she has. She genuinely won’t shut up about it. She is always wrong.
"Nobody says a thing about men's bodies."
No, they definitely do.

She needs to apologize to the space that her body wastes. And for having her own orbital force
Honestly when it comes to social media...it's not men who comment on women's bodies, it's other women. They are awful to each other.
she said that “why is every pretty girl with an ugly guy” in 2018
Size of his bank account.
All pretty girls should wear off their all 10kg make-up
I’m really glad you’ve touched on this topic with her.
I have been more body shamed by women than anyone else
Especially cuz we see women being SUPPORTED for different body times, while men “who don’t deal with body shaming” get no representation in media
Imagine a male celebrity going around saying “I can’t believe this rlly good looking guy is with such a fat/ugly girl”. They would get cancelled IMEDIATLEY
Ya I always hear women talking down men because of their bodies. It’s not a man/women issue it’s a personality issue that’s not gender exclusive. She got famous young and lacks the experience to know what people are truly like
Women do not take down men. Look who runs the world. They just think they do and that’s their strange obsessions that’s never gonna happen.
Can we just take a second to appreciate Brett's ability to crossover to her promotion of other businesses? Masterclass.
If I am not fully alert when watching her advertising something, I think it is part of the show until about one minute in. Seamless transitioning.
@@JugglingJuggalosyeah it’s so clean
Hey now....im a man and i dont care if you're fat or skinny....ill make fun of you either way. Thats called being inclusive! 😊
That's gonna be my motto from now on
My first job was in a food establishment in the local mall. From behind the counter, I saw a ton of couples. What I learned is that no matter what you look like, there is somebody out there who finds that attractive. Trust me, I'm from the South, and I see a lot of "less than beautiful" people regularly, who are happily coupled off.
Elizabeth: This is madness.
Captain Jack Sparrow: This is politics.
I had a coworker ( white F) divorce her husband ( White M) of only two years because he was fat. she herself was 200ish lbs and 5 ft 3 ish. the hypocrisy and stupidity never ceases to astonish me
I know it's game over when a woman asks me to take my hat off. They see my receding hair line and I never hear from them again. 😢
I'm sorry bro. I pay you respect. 🤝
Love this comment.
Thanks
So glad youre covering this! I just saw this yesterday and was so annoyed.
2:11 being “nice” doesn’t mean that women don’t discriminate against men’s bodies. In fact, every dating pod cast, snippet, SM post, or anywhere I have ever seen, when a woman is asked the question, “can he be obese”, every single time they said no.
I really never thought Billy could say stuff like that after going through it herself
You will probably not find many young female celebrity today that doesn't say stuff like this. They are all brainwashed in to thinking women are the only victims that exist and men are the ones doing everything to them.
That’s what fake victims do, and even real victims do. She’s late for the flight. This isn’t the vibe anymore.
I thought she was done with her crap.
My wife literally asked me to hit the gym before my wedding… and I was only 12 months removed from active military service. 😂
there is basically a movie called MEAN GIRLS...and its still a hit because its true and funny.
billie vs brett??? am choosing brett all day
4:00 Sonic Adventure Chao Garden theme!!
"We're all in it together" TRUTH. And the spongebob clip 10/10
I love how she slams "ugly" guys, first thing she needs to do is look in a mirror. I have seen dogs that have been hit by cars that still look better then her.
Thanks for confirming you're an incel. Your 6 incel pals thumbed up the video agree. You Might as well find out who they are and turn gay for them if you're not already. May be your only chance at happiness
Lmao people make fun of men more then women simply because we don't have a melt down Everytime someone calls us ugly or fat lol
I'm a short guy, it's gets joked about all my life, I have to grin and bear it
Your hair always looks amazing! 🤩
And ofc i love the way you put the sponsors in your videos
as a previous huge eilish fan and a person who genuinely enjoys her old music, i WAS WAITING for brett co cover up this topic
