AP gov or AP us history + AP lang are the most useful, next to any other ones. Saves you money in college. Take any other AP classes that will be relevant to your gen eds. AP physics or any AP math classes if you're in stem.

I know a bunch of people that took Ap Bio, Ap Chem, Ap stats, and Ap Calculus and didn’t even get credit for them since for many colleges you need a 5 to get credit, and you also need to pass a placement test and you may not remember all the material, making the class uselsss. For things like gov and history, and Ap lang and lit, most colleges will accept a 3 or 4 and no placement test is needed, so you will most likely get credit.
Tbh I think psych was the most fun and most useful for me.. Taught me study skills without being boring and forcing me to use a specific way. Also taught me about why people get mental illness which is Fascinating.
Please, for your own sake, don’t diagnose your own sicknesses with just a general biology class… unless you’re just having cold symptoms but you don’t need a general biology class for that.

I’m currently taking AP Bio, AP Bio, APES, and AP Gov. I took AP Psych and APUSH as a freshmen and I got a 5 on AP Psych. I definitely agree that it’s the most useful AP class to possibly take and I genuinely use a lot of the concepts we learned about to this day.

@TheToadster-g8r I'm in apes, it's fun!!! Personally, I'm learning a lot from it! Also it's never a bad idea to have a good understanding of the environment around you and your place in it! Nowadays we're faced with alot of environmental issues and we need people to be educated on them, Apes is a great place to start. The other thing my Apes class has done is expressed the importance of advocating for those issues to be taken seriously.
Id have to say AP Seminar is the most useful ap ive taken so far, its taught me so much on essay writing, researching, and presenting, which is crucial for college or careers. Im taking Ap psychology too, and its so interesting to really understand how the mind works. I always catch myself doing things like hindsight bias and heuristics, i love applying the concepts in real world situations, but i feel its not as important as ap seminar
Yo AP Psych does not tell you how to “read other people.” That’s one of the silliest things I’ve ever learned. It mostly goes over basic natural mental processes and a base level understanding of other people on a more general level. There is no AP class for mental manipulation or social skills 😭
I guess it depends what you take away from the class. Ap Micro/Macroeconomics was probably the most useful for me in terms of understanding and interpreting the general economy, allowing me to be much better fiscally Ap Statistics was a great class that taught me a lot outside of the content of the course. The central limit theorem applies in pretty much all aspects of life allowing me to look for and pick out patterns in large samples of volatile individuals And finally Ap Physics (any of them really bust most specifically for me electrostatics and magnetism) Again, not because of the content but that course ruthlessly taught and honed my decision-making and problem-solving skill sets. The moral is all of these courses can teach you practical skills outside of the content if you are open minded to it

Aesthetics, History, Lit, Geometry, Chemistry, Theology, Classical Writing, and greek 2. Its been a month since school started, weve already read 3 books and written 4 essays. I take piano lessons and work part time. Yet i dont go around whinning like a little princess talking about how smart or much I have (besides a little now)

AP HUG should be the first one you take It's an easy class and most people are put into it (even the non tryhardy kids) it makes you more aware and gives you a glimpse into the mental connection schools that will come in key within higher level classes

Foreign language, I think was a lower GE.? For higher GEs it may also be a requirement. If you complete AP Spanish let’s say, then you don’t need to do 1 yr foreign language for lower GE and 3 yrs for higher GE.

You never took these classes. You learn none of this in all those classes. It highly depends on what major you’re doing. Every AP class is useful
