Watch channels like Olufemii, Film Riot, and Cinecom! Most importantly, start making videos consistently and applying what you learn from tutorials. Consistency builds experience, and experience is how you get closer to where you want to be!

Question, whenever I try to edit videos and add some cool effects in AE it slows down my computer to a crawl. Is a memory problem on my machine or do I need to convert the videos to something else.
Hey! This is a tricky question to answer because there could be a multitude of reasons. It could be from not having enough RAM, to the video file or effect you're using. I recommend searching online and finding the most common issues, and then going through each solution. Going through reddit threads is usually my go-to method. Good luck 💪

You can disable the underlying layer and render this with an alpha channel. This will create the DOOM effect.
