For my love, Brandon Belluz... the man that introduced me to myself - The one thaf showed me that music is truly magic, who taught me to "Sing like no one is listening, sing to the world like you sing to yourself in the shower, and you won't ever again be able to say to anyone that you don't have a voice"... the curtains rose over a beautiful life, dreams built in the setting sun of the never ending westcoast summers eve... and now that youre gone, i look back at the silent agony of the last two years without you and i see that the show goes on... with or without me. I love you Brandon Gregory Aldo Belluz - you were so special. Your light was put out far too soon. You music and your voice left a deep mark on everyone you touched and you will never, ever be forgotten. April 3rd 2023 marks the 2 yr anniversary of Brandons untimely death, and until just now i couldn't listen to any of the music we loved, the artists he opened my eyes to, the music that we played, the music we made... I couldn't go near RUclips until just now, right here. My chains are broken, and thanks to The Devill Makes Three - My voice, rusty as it may be, was set free from the grief that held me in silence. Thank you to all the members of The Devil Makes Three... Your music changed the entire course of my life. I love all of your work, and I will continue to be a huge fan till I'm 6 feet under. The emotional journey that your beautiful music has carried me on over the last 7 years has been one hell of a Rollercoaster- beautiful, insanity, heart wrenching, hilarious, passionate and full of endless discoveries, and endless love. Please don't ever stop. You guys are beyond gifted.... you are a gift. Thank you. Namasté. (Namas-Cray lol)
Amazing, song gets to my heart, my son and his friend were killed after seeing The Devil Makes Three in NYC last January by a motorist not paying attention. He was 29 and she was 24. I have been debating contacting someone afflliated with the band to let them know about my son, what a fan he was and what an amazing you man he was....anyone know how or who I contact.....message me on facebook, Denise Castellitto Munoz.
I couldn’t find the lyrics online so there might be a few mistakes You came from down south Words in your mouth You had your tricks and your needs, Bounce up the stronger Lasted longer Came between you and me, You headed straight down Nothing to hide now Dancing to your masters tune, I could see in your eyes You were ready to die Tell me what was I supposed to do (Chorus) The curtains rise The show goes on Wish you were here I know that your gone Curtains rise The show goes on and on and on Now that your gone Were it in your hands So many plans All of them headed on the road, We where drinking in the parking lot Singing with the strangers To that beat I feel the cold, * When I stand on the stage I know your standing next to me Your right here by my side, Singing along Sick of my song That I know you’ve heard a hundred times ( Chorus) Down in deep water Wind county’s daughter I’ll never get to look in your eyes, It just happened Like thunder clap And leaving us to wonder why, Into the arms of the river You would deliver Only 24 years old, Don’t tell me everything happens for a reason That line is getting old (Chorus)
Just a couple corrections: Verse 2: World in your hands, so many plans All of them ahead on the road We were drinkin' in the parking lot Singin' with the strangers Too happy to feel the cold ... Verse 3 Down in deep water, Windham County's daughter (?) ... Into the arms of the river you were delivered, Only 24 years old ...
Just because they sing a different tune doesn't mean that they aren't the same people or the same band. I'm doing drama, speech and debate, guitar club, and soccer for my senior year. I'm trying new things, broadening my horizons for college. I'm still the same person I was yesterday, and last week, and last year. Same goes with the band. They're trying different things for shits and giggles. That doesn't make them any better or worse than they were. And get this. You can still listen to only their older albums. You don't have to like this album. But you don't have to talk " smack " about it either.

You came from down south
Words in your mouth
You had your tricks and your needs,
Bounce up the stronger
Lasted longer
Came between you and me,
You headed straight down
Nothing to hide now
Dancing to your masters tune,
I could see in your eyes
You were ready to die
Tell me what was I supposed to do
(Chorus)
The curtains rise
The show goes on
Wish you were here
I know that your gone
Curtains rise
The show goes on and on and on
Now that your gone
Were it in your hands
So many plans
All of them headed on the road,
We where drinking in the parking lot
Singing with the strangers
To that beat I feel the cold, *
When I stand on the stage
I know your standing next to me
Your right here by my side,
Singing along
Sick of my song
That I know you’ve heard a hundred times
( Chorus)
Down in deep water
Wind county’s daughter
I’ll never get to look in your eyes,
It just happened
Like thunder clap
And leaving us to wonder why,
Into the arms of the river
You would deliver
Only 24 years old,
Don’t tell me everything happens for a reason
That line is getting old
(Chorus)
Thank youuuu🥰💓💓
Just a couple corrections:
Verse 2:
World in your hands, so many plans
All of them ahead on the road
We were drinkin' in the parking lot
Singin' with the strangers
Too happy to feel the cold
...
Verse 3
Down in deep water,
Windham County's daughter (?)
...
Into the arms of the river you were delivered,
Only 24 years old
...
10 point sss!!!!
The sound quality is way up, proper studio quality however there is something left behind also. It's not that raw anymore. I miss that.

Found something stronger...
