hi! cantonese is my mother tongue🧡 as for english, i studied at a public school in hong kong but a lot of schools in hk use english as the main teaching language (which was the case for my school i went to for 12 years) bc hk was a british colony. i also went to an international kindergarten but what helped my (spoken) english the most was speaking it a lot more with my friends (who either grew up in english-speaking families or has an interest in western culture, but we barely speak entirely in english when we’re tgt) and after making youtube videos, which is the main reason!
