God doesn't see your scars from your past, whether you made mistakes or decisions where made for you. What God sees is your Beauty. He sees you as fearfully and wonderfully made. I really needed this. My husband has convinced me of so many horrible things about myself. I’m trying to remember that these things are simply untrue. God loves me.
Dear wishingonthemoon1 ... Someone who tears another person down constantly like that is an emotionally abusive person who does this to weaken the other person so they are easier to control. Since the victim feels so bad about themself, they do not have the confidence in themselves or the inner strength to go out & live life independently. Therefore, by feeling weak & incapable, they will not attempt to go outside the boundaries the abuser has set for them or challenge the abuser's power or control in the relationship. 😣
You cannot change your husband, only God can, so pray for him ... but you & God in partnership together can change you & help you to grow into the strong, confident woman God created you to be. Then you can fulfill God's purpose for your life. ❤
I have been in your shoes before. I thought I didn't deserve the air that I breathed, I felt so bad about myself. But no more, God has healed all that & I am very grateful to Him. God bless you.

"Self Esteem" is the most difficult one for me to overcome. It's so difficult for me to believe about what Jesus truly says about me. The world just throws nasty things about you through social media, hurt people, and many other ways. I want to overcome it with all my heart through God ❤

I know this might not be uncommon but for an individual such as myself it actually is I'm glad to see a minister a woman of God talk about self-esteem in a healthy way because I don't know how many times I've heard ministers saying that self-love is wrong when actuality miss terpening self love as being selfish when actually is a healthy part of life , and thank you God for letting me see this because for a long time I've dealt with that

If, somewhere along the line, you "lose" God, how do you find Him again when the world has done it's level-best to make you unable to even see Him? The toxins in the air, food, water... it's like there's a wall between me and Jesus and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. I pray and pray and pray and I don't know if I'm trying too hard or if I just can't get it. Can you give some advice, Ms. Meyer?
What helped me was changing the way I communicated with Him. For a while I became groveling and begging, but once I started talking to God like my spouse, or friend, or parent, like a proper real relationship of love, my connection was restored. I hope this helps.

That is reductive and wrong. John M is not a good person. He assumes that he knows everything about the Bible and is conceited. Joyce M was sexually abused and has PTSD. She is talking about blessed healing from that not necessarily money. Look up legal case of Ted Neeley and John M. This is a famous court case.He was a friend of mine and we were both members of grace church of the valley in the 1970s. Curious, since John M does not always show grace to others.
@@tracyschiermangeorgis6672 I feel bad for her past but you have to preach the Gospel that gets people saved and then God can heal you properly when you got your faith right.
I read one of her book it’s more secular than biblical, God blessed when we stay true to his Word.
John MacArthur is a faithful man, we are all sinners but as long as he preaches the Word when he is on a platform I can’t judge him
