Is it a 5 in 1 blade because I went on a Canadian site and it says it's a 5 in 1 and not changable blades

The hornet is a 5 in 1 with optional 3,4,5,6,7 blades. Pretty cool.

How do you know if you are touching the undercoat? Are there videos on to tell to not trim off too much?

I have two schnauzers and I've been seeing those at home sets that vacuum as you clip. Do you recommend any for a home groomer?

They are very hard to accustomed to if you are new to grooming.

I have a labradoodle and a bernedoodle. I have never groomed a day in my life, other than my sheep...lol. I use one of the grooming "at home vacuum clippers". And it works great! You do have to empty the cannister often, but it helps with the mess. Also, if your learning, it has a little trimmer that gets in between their pads really well, especially if your new, so as not to cut them. The only drawback is the hose being connected and the power cord. I hope this helps!

The other 2 have their own motor sound and it has never changed. I see no reason it will. 🙌

I have the joyzzee piranha and it’s better to get the andis pulzer for matts. The piranha does work on smaller breeds and depending on how you prep the coat it could go through matts but it’s only a two speed. An A5 clipper is a must in my opinion

All three are great. If you are a groomer you want the Raptor to handle any grooming situation.

Can I ask why you go in that direction against the hair direction & not with the hair grain?

I am clipping with the lay of the coat. That’s the correct method.
