You can get cheaper keyboards and they work just as well. Mine was $30 dollars and it worked better than that keyboard. My friend has that keyboard and I compared it to my $30 keyboard.
Almost every keyboard and mouse works for Xbox. I have a 20 dollar keyboard and mouse and it works on Xbox

Not true, only recent CoDs on console support mouse and keyboard. Modern Warfare 2019 was the first game to introduce MKB support on console. So only MW/Warzone and Cold War on console actually support MKB. For any prior game (BO4 and earlier) you have to use a third party device like the one in this video, or a XIM.

When it comes to competitive games, I can see why people want everyone using the same controls type. But when it comes to someone playing their single player or co-op games, why does it matter? Modern consoles really need to adapt more to keyboard and mouse players for their preference. If I want to play The Last of Us or Days Gone on keyboard and mouse, why should I not be allowed? Nobody has any real reason to say otherwise.
i know this comment was commented about a year ago, but i’d still like to add my thoughts about this, i think it has to do with a money aspect, specific game console companies want you to buy their controllers and any add ons for said console, but i think it’s more just the way consoles became popular, with controllers as their only way of using them, and so console companies know you’re buying a console to use a controller and not a keyboard and mouse
But doesn’t the argument of people using the same controllers get thrown out of the window with the elite controller, which has its own dpi setting that you can customize, trigger stops, and paddles?

They have advantages and disadvantages. Keyboards are better for shooters, rpgs, rts, tower defense, moabs and simulation games. Controllers are better for racing games, sports games, plataformers and fighting games. And both are good for open world adventure games. Keyboards are more dynamic and allow you to be faster while controllers are more comfortable and can immerse you more.

Coming from a PC gamer, I prefer keyboard and mouse when it comes to shooters. I prefer using a controller when playing platformers or fighting games. I find this specific keyboard perplexing considering very few games support keyboard and mouse on Xbox. It would be foolish to buy it specifically for Xbox.

Search up PicTek TKL Keyboard on Amazon its $30 and has mechanical blue switches connect it to the back of the xbox usb. You could always use keyboard and mouse for xbox.
