To be honest, I think somebody from the foreign office of your own actual country needs to intervene in your own actual professional development, cos what the local companies are doing, isn't a great thing for you.. and I don't think that you know what and why etc... And what your GF is doing, is also kind of manipulative as well... which is kind of odd, and quite bad.. in a way as well... Cos you're not integrating with the local community, and yet, is being too manipulated in this way as well... This is one of those situation as well... in terms of development in HK. Cos many children are raised with "maids" in HK... so this kind of "management of people".. and literally.... so many people would use one another, and would not literally be down to earth. If your father is from Europe.. then don't let this scenario happen to you..... Really. Don't. This is bad.
