i have another idea to make these sound even more insane and exotic.......flat plane crank, and definitely individual throttle bodies........ this car and your dads small block ford will love you for it and we will too
You guys just put tiers in my eyes… due to a health issue I couldn’t race my GT40 and ended up selling it. Listening to that beautiful sound again was great, thank you so much. Side note you don’t need an X pipe just mufflers onto the V-bands and then straight out. That’s why you have the distance between the headers.🏁🇦🇺😉🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
I’ve been watching jigsaw from the very beginning and the channel even longer. The metal work and fabrication is what got me hooked…….. the sound of jigsaw now is spot on can’t wait to see what yall do visually with the exit
If you're going to test different muffler setups, I HIGHLY recommend using high flow cats as mufflers, you'll get the cleanest sound you've ever heard.
I love watching you guys work. I know a guy that spent in excess of 300k on having an old Chevy rebuilt with a Corvette engine and modern underpinnings. He got it back and had to have a couple of things fixed because they didn't think through some of the changes they made. It's ridiculous that he spent that much money and had to have it corrected. Not everyone who's expensive are "experts." I listen to the thought you guys put into this project and it seems you actually know a few things.
What a great day the Lord Has Made! My little brother from another mother welcomed his Baby Boy into the world this morning! And I get to watch Y’all continue building an awesome car to top off an already glorious day! 🤗
I think this intro really nailed the hook on the intro with you guy's new style! I knew was coming with a new voice (videographer/editor), and I enjoy it even more than the old stuff now! It's just such a nice fucking groove guys, with content, sound, music (I'm a practicing musician of 24 years, decent mechanic, and amateur audio/video editor.) editing, and consistent voice. I have supreme praise for people who can nail so many different things that require so much skill in one individual production... and then all of that comes with weekly series production... fucking A+ guys!
No my dears! The cross flow need equal intake duct lengths other wise you will not get the sound. The exhaust system is crazy awesome and sophisticated. I bet all manifold ducts have the same length so the gases will not interfere each other, you can check this by filling water in the ducts and compare all volumes. Cheers
Please cut down that beam to the back deck level, then cap it off with new steel welded on for strength. Show off the engine as much as possible and allow maximum space for working on it too! Project Jigsaw is ooking good, guys!
Can't wait for Sunday mornings(South African time), when new videos are loaded. Please make the next video on this car just about muffler testing..... PLEASE
I know you’ll be building the engine, most likely with new heads. Be weary of the plug angle on some heads that you buy for small block fords. The GT40 heads (known as 3 bar heads because there are three bars cast into the front of the head) have a standard plug angle. The GT40P heads (marked with 4 bars) have a more aggressive spark plug angle and require special headers. Aftermarket aluminum heads for the most part have the standard plug angle though. If you’re looking for that exotic raspy sound, go with some trick flow twisted wedge heads. The valve angles are pretty drastic and give the exhaust tone a nice poppy sound like a lot of the European V8’s
Guys, I ve been watching and enjoying this project. I built an LS powered Lotus Europa using a Boxster S trans axle and has similar challenges. I was able to run my shift cables along the bottom of the engine. I was able to use the stock cables and had quite a bit of extra length. Now that you are using the 180 headers, can you run your cables under them?
When you're a good fabricator, like you gentlemen are.. sometimes just cutting a lot of stuff away and re doing it how you like it and it looks best is the best option. Rather than cutting things half away and patching it later.
You don't need, nor should you use, an X pipe with 180 degree headers. The whole point of the 180 degree headers is to even out the uneven pulses between the left and right sides of an exhaust. An X pipe, or H pipe is how you can make the uneven pulses bridge over to the other side of the exhaust (but that's already fixed by the headers). You don't need to combine these two elements. If you want the unique sound of the 180 degree headers, ditch the X pipe and separate the exhaust outlets as much as possible.
In this context, I don't think anyone would judge. So just make a short, highlighting the most beautiful work you've done so far, and slap 26:11 on at the end with no context 😂
As far as this Build went so far you kept the name/adress of your shop/business out of your videos. If that was on purpose you doxxed yourself in this episode, don't know if that is something that concerns you guys. Anyhow love the build and I'm looking forward to every saturday and updates on your progress :)
Just an enthusiast but why would you not have simply put v-band receivers on the muffler side so you didn’t have to weld in pipes to the b-bands you just paid for?
you really need a wider lens. I stopped watching because I never see the car in full or even anything close to a full shot. you're always pushed in to talking head mode, I never see context
Loose the X pipe, it defeats the point of the headers, I spent 10 years listening to a flat plane small block V8 with stack injection running full throttle, I know what your car should sound like, and it doesn't.

I think yall have overextended yourself on the headers. With an exhaust tip, your car is going to look like a bosozoku car.
just for fun, can you please try the engine without the x pipe? bc i have the sensation that it will help with scavenging and it will sound better
You guys have been my new Saturday morning cartoons. Have t been this excited for Sat mornings since I was a kid
ikr, I'm always waiting for saturday to come so I can watch the new episode
Guaranteed, Tony's Dad is looking down and smiling, nicely done gentlemen.
"Thanks for hanging in the shop with us"?
@@Eatongee OH NOOOO WE FORGOT TO PUT THAT IN!
Thanks for hanging in the shop with us. 🙏🙏
as much as i want to see a finished product i enjoy starting my saturday with project jigsaw videos

Bundle of snakes? More like a bundle of joy! Watching how happy that system made you guys made me happy. Another great episode!

Wow, mufflers really made a huge difference. From mad max noise to beautiful supercar music
That exhaust screams Supercar! Well done!
thanks for letting me hang out in the shop

Saturday is now complete
Wow, the mufflers made quite a difference! Really promising! Looking forward to seeing and hearing the final product.
the only thing i look forward to these days
are you doing alright there bud? just checking... that phrase can mean something serious sometimes.

Your channel is a true oasis for the mind and soul. Thank you for your warmth and light that you bring into our lives!🐘🏹🐭
The sound is great! Snakes delivering awesomeness
3 minutes ago is CRAZYYY
love the videos lads keep it up!!!
That exhaust is an artwork!
I'd love to see a diamond pattern quad tip center exit exhaust. Very "supercar exotic".
That sounds fantastic, even without the silencers! It's got a lovely rasp to it, and only sounds like a V8 at idle. It should be epic under load!
Those headers sure are pretty.
that v8 pattern is like an reverse paradiddle lol
you can play the paradiddle rudiment in a large number of combinations and RRLR LLRL is a totally valid vaiation
Enjoyed the pillow talk.
She sounded so gorgeous! 😍
The people who built those headers weld better than I do.
Same

Awesome. Thinking of a 2 into one extended into a false empty muffler then piped to a large flowmaster 50 series with dual exits.
Your video is one of my happiest moment of my week!!!!! thank you for the sharing!!!!!
Super interesting the angle of the headers, as they come back and up, almost perfectly match the angle of the top of that cross member
Checking the tracking every 12 seconds and then RUNNING out to the delivery guy.. if that isn't the most relatable thing, I don't know what is 🤣🤣
Will you be using any of the Heat Shield Products?
Fantastic job 😍
I'm gona need to make some equal length manifolds for my V12 build 😎
the best Exhaust i was see
Best part of my week! Awesome video
Us percussionists call that LRLL RLRR pattern a paradiddle.

i'm dissapointed nobody said "you will hear the song of my people"
Great episodes guys. Always look forward to the next one. Again you guys work well together. Thanks for keepin things real and no drama.
100% Agree with Ryan, the engine doghouse has to GO! Let that engine breathe and let those beautiful snake headers scream!!🔥 Lets GOOO!
Sounds amazing can't wait to see you guys do next
9:54 Tony hogging all the credit. Give the kid just one credit Tone 😁

Looks awesome and I wanted to that Ryan’s house looks super cool, doesn’t look like a house from York.
It’s actually Tony’s house! We shot the ad there because it has way better lighting haha.
Woo Nice!! Been wanting to do 180s on the VW for a while. They will have to cross under the engine to work. Looks great!!!
Looking good! Check out the new borla switchfire xpipe they had at sema this year, might help get an even more unique sound.
Turbos make the best mufflers😂

De- Mad Max -ification has begun... excellent!
I have been watching this whole build and just realized Ryan has heterochromia.
Hilarious if he's colorblind, and he just realized too
Oh my goodness you’re right. And I didn’t think there was anything hetero about Ryan. Guess I was wrong! 😮
@@bofat6978hahahaha
I noticed that 2 or 3 episodes back
I've been watching since before youtube back on Instagram and also never realized he was heterosexual, I mean chromia
Fantastic headers if i understand properly they work only on the cross plane crankshaft?
just curious but since they are close it you had two different toned mufflers to create 1 tone like they do with horns would that work?

MORE BENDS :D
High reving builds costs a lot but man does this car need a high reving v8
@CrucibleCoachworks Where in the world did you get that Porsche workshop manual, and how can I get one?

Just asking... Is an X-pipe / crossover actually needed with 180⁰ headers?
No ! 😅 That is what the GT40 Headers are all about
You scared me with the exhaust adapter plan until you explained it.
Şu haliyle tiwin turbo olsa inanılmaz olurdu
on a side note.... nice commercial, nice pad
at 28:21 did anyone else see the electrical spark jump across the exhaust when the pop sound happened ?
I‘m somehow not a big fan of this project. What happened to the 928?😥
Would have been easier to just get an actual flat plane crankshaft for it.
i thought snakes on planes 2 had been released
Just an enthusiast but why would you not have simply put v-band receivers on the muffler side so you didn’t have to weld in pipes to the b-bands you just paid for?
Meant V-Bands…Ugh
V8 plays paradiddles?
It’s fun video, but the Ego is getting a little large 😂
please y into single with a megaphone, just try it.

Bit of a struggle to watch this week . Has camera man been on the piss (Beer), waving all over the place .

Do you guys ever get anything done? You’re milking these videos, I can’t stand that.
Found the guy that has never built anything custom.
What do you mean, we got a lot done 💀
