- I guess there's always a first for everything! my very first failed unboxing to date. I was so put off by this whole thing, clearly my thoughts were all over the place at the end. Oh well, sorry for this failed unboxing video but still wanted to show you guys what I got anc would have kept if it was not in this condition.
That’s so disappointing! Like where is the quality control??? So sorry that happened to you - I could see your excitement deflate when you were spotting the defects. It is a beautiful bag but so glad you are sending it back. TFS your experience.

I was not going to upload this because as you can see, my thoughts after finding out this issue was all over the place but I figured it would be useful for people who might be thinking about getting this particular bag size and color so I uploaded it anyway. I’m so bummed about this but I’m glad I was able to return it.
Yikes I can’t believe they sold a bag in that condition. It looks like it was used. The one I received in the toy size had white cloth sewn around the straps. It even took me a long time to carefully unwrap everything. But I see yours doesn’t have that. Unfortunately my magnet closure also came scratched like yours too. But everything else looked ok and it is on the inside so I accepted it. 😪 The first one I had seen in store had a mark on the YSL logo so they had to order another one for me.
And wow your toy lou lou looks like in great condition still! I think it’s more hard wearing because I believe it is calfskin. Be careful with the puffer because I don’t know what happened but I think I might have accidentally left the chain pressing against the bag when I stored it and it was only a week and it left indents on the bag! 😭 Luckily the indents came out but now I am SUPER careful to make sure the chain isn’t pressing onto the bag when I store it.
yea, I think the loulou is more hardwearing d/t the difference in leather but I also don't bang around m purses, so maybe that also helps. Thanks for the tip about the puffer though. I think I still really like it but I am so put off by this unboxing that IDK if I'll get it again or get something else entirely, either from YSL or another brand. We will see!!! Thanks for watching.
