I personally have tried to warn other professing Christians who practice yoga about the dangers of this practice and sadly no one ever listens to me. It is the most disheartening thing to not be able to reach a fellow believer concerning the dangers of this movement and its practices. So grateful again for Jan and all she's doing.
Trinita Hall I have done the same and have had the same results. There is a book that I recently read, called The Shattering: An Encounter with the Truth by Jessica Smith that is very informative. Like Steven, she was healed long in the New Age movement.

Julie Glista That is exactly the same type response that I receive. I'm praying that these professing faith in Christ Jesus, who refuse to give up their yoga will wake up and realize their state and come out from among these practices and get ready for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Trinita, just continue for God to reveal the truth to them. I practiced yoga for nine years as a from of exercise, relaxation and stress-control. I thought if I prayed Jesus into my practice and protected me, I would be fine. During prayer on Easter Sunday three years ago, I asked God what He needed from me. As clear as day, His soft voice commanded, "Stop doing yoga." Wow. I knew it was Him, so I was obedient (slipped a couple of times) and began to really search out truth on Christians doing yoga...trying to separate it from the Hindu religion. I do miss it, sometimes long for it...therein lies the deception.
I'm so glad to see Steven Bancarz on your show. I came across his testimony awhile back and could very much relate because I was a Catholic and was into the New Age movement before becoming born again.
Please pray for Oprah that she gets truly saved. At the moment she is a very dangerous woman causing worldwide deceit.

It's as old as Nimrod; however, my Father was involved in Rosicrucianism which was apart from Blavatsky but much older. The whole family was involved before it became New Age. Thank God, that I found Jesus as did everyone else.

I have one out in the world that is into new age. Even wears crystals around his neck. He was raised in church and went to awannas at church.learned alot of bible verses. Praying for our children's eyes to be opened

There are so many being misled today because they do not read the Bible and Pray. Seek God first, and know His Word. There are so many wolves in the flock right now. I have lost two churches to cults, the last one to Bethel Church in Redding.

They just don’t take it seriously and when something feels good to them it must be God because they could never be deceived! I have literally walked away from 3 churches who were involved with Rick Warren's teachings. I was a Sunday School/Bible teacher but I could not get anyone to listen and wake up. The pastor, the council and the elders were all in agreement. I had seen this destroy churches before. It is a dangerous plan and doctrine.

I can testify myself what Steven is saying is true. I was involved with everything you listed Jan. From astrology, tarot, numerology, psychics, chakra, yoga, meditation, crystals, neurolingistic programming - you name it. I even became the Phoenix, AZ ambassador for the Awakening as One movement. Living in Phoenix I went to Sedona every chance I could and was heavily involved with every bit of spirituality practiced there including the full moon drum circles on Cathedral Rock. I enrolled in Sahdguru's program. I even wound up involved with a Taoist cult just outside of Sedona and allowed a little Korean woman to beat me with a stick for a week. Crazy! I went to a spirit healer that worked out a program for me to follow and I even knew then because of my doubts that this woman was drawing evil energies into me. I had every new age book on my shelves from Eckhard Tolle to Doreen Virtue to Don Muriz to David Icke and more. I can tell you the demons that this stuff attracts are real. My demons mostly came in the form of aliens. For decades I had strange encounters with aliens. Many times in the form of dreams where they took me and showed me things like star charts, how to fly craft, healing with light and tours inside their ship, and rounding up other abductees. I know, weird. I experienced physical abductions. I would wake up from one of these vivid alien dreams and find myself laying on my bed on top of the covers contorted as if I were a rag doll thrown there. I would often find strange markings on my body - needle marks as if blood had been drawn. Once I woke up and saw blood on my pillow. I looked in the mirror and saw that both ears had been cut in the same place - the cartilage ridge of my outer ear. My ex was also into this stuff. His demon probably came to him by playing with the Ouji board. His demon was a ghost that would visit him at night, put him in sleep paralisis and push information into him. Information on future events that actually came true like the exact time our oldest son would be born. This info from the ghost was indeed accurate to the minute. Another time this ghost gave him info about a flight we were taking from Japan to Hawaii weeks in advance. The info was something bad would happen to the plane and somehow a Catholic priest was involved. Weeks later we were at the airport checking in. My ex was handling stuff at the counter while I was occupying our son. I looked up and saw a Catholic priest standing behind us checking in for the same flight. I tapped my husband's shoulder and when he saw the priest standing there he turned white and started to freak. At the gate he approached the priest and told him about his "dream". The priest prayed a prayer of protection over us. We all boarded the plane. We made a short stop in Tokyo. The priest got off the plane there. Now we were taking off for Honolulu. Down the runway and the plane began to lift off the ground. All of a sudden there was a bang and an alarm and the pilots slammed the plane back to the ground and turned the plane hard so we wouldn't go off the runway into the ocean. All the luggage in the overhead bins came crashing down on our heads. We taxied back to the terminal and found out something had broken on the plane and needed repair. I'm telling all this to let people know that this spirit that was visting my ex and pushing info into him was very real. I had other strange things happening to me at my house. I was contantly finding things out of place. For instance I had one of those sofas with pillows for the back that I always arranged one certain way. I would come home from work to find the pillows arranged differently. I had a room that I didn't use and was completely empty. I had vacuumed myself out of the room. You know how the vacuum would leave lines in the carpet. Sometime later I went into the room and found footprints in the middle of the carpet. The foot prints came neither from the door or the window. Just six prints in the middle of the floor in a semi circle. Another time I looked out the window into my backyard and saw a woman sitting on the lounge chair by my pool. Just sitting there. I called my neighbor who is a cop. He came right over. In the time I opened the front door to let him in until we walked 15 feet across the great room to look out the window the woman was gone without a trace. My backyard was fully enclosed by a 6 foot block wall and my gate was locked with a padlock. How this woman got in and out of my backyard is a mystery. What was really crazy was that I got to the point where I was doing white sage smudging in my home on a regular bases to clear out evil spirits - the very spirits I was inviting in by my own practice!! Anyways, I was finally born again and baptised in 2014 and since then none of this strange stuff has happened. No more alien stuff. I had gotten rid of all my new age books, crystals, tarot cards, etc... and got rid of anything that could be an idol. Since I am no longer involved with this new age stuff and since coming to Jesus, and all strangeness has ceased, it's confirmation for me that all this new age stuff involved and was working with dark evil spirits. While it might seem facinating to ones intellect, it had for me, it really is something you don't want to mess with.
thank you, I read your testimony, and the so called accidents and more ..than just accidents ..The occult or religion what ever it is , is very alluring..I am a born again Christian..for a long time now..The occult had frightened me,.I asked Jesus into my heart when I was just 7 years old alone one day , then later, I walked down the other path away from him..But later when I became 17 ..My flesh and soul responded to Christ .Fear locks people in, the are addicted to it..like a month to a flame..thanks you should tell others of your experience, so they can know someone had a similar experience

Jan, I know of your background regarding the supernatural and I just want to share something I experienced during a very dark time in my life. I was born again at age 21, but through incredible loneliness, I went down a path I shouldn't have chosen. That path was long and winding and it branched off even further, but all the while, I believed I was close to the Lord. We tell ourselves these things while straying farther from His plan for us.
Anyway, years pass and I marry and this man passes away after only 6 years. About 3 years into our time together, his health took a downward turn that we both knew was his last chance at living a decent life with his Type 1 diabetes and all the complications that come from that. (Sorry. Should have warned you this would be long.)
In a 17 month period of time, I lost 4 people who were very close to me. My husband's grandmother died in November 1999, my husband passed in his sleep 3 months later. Three months after my husband passed, my stepfather died. And less than a year after that, my father had a sudden catastrophic hemorrhage in his brain and was paralyzed on his left side. Lost all control of bodily functions but remained alert and oriented (which had to be the cruelest part of it all.) He wanted to be placed into Hospice and so we honored his wishes and he passed comfortably 6 weeks after his stroke.
I was in a complete whirlwind of emotional numbness and the only thing I could do was to grasp at anything that might help soothe me and help me to process it all. To find some meaning for all the pain and loss. I got involved in numerology, tarot cards, psychics, and books on meditation and new age things. I believed that if I just "used those tools" and kept my eyes on God, He could use those things to help me. I believed it was possible.
It isn't possible. Those things will make you feel you're gaining insight in some ways, but you aren't walking with the Lord, you are walking away from Him. Thankfully I did eventually realize this was not His will and His way and I put those things behind me. But I understand how people can get caught up in these things with the best of intentions. I think God's love and mercy and grace for us through Christ is what carries us through those chapters until we come back to the fold, but it's better to just not "go there." We may not have enough time on this planet to make that choice to walk away from those things. (Sobering thought. There but for the Grace of God go I.)
I hope this helps someone who might read this. Let go of the worldly things that bring you comfort and grab a tighter hold on JESUS. Tell Him you need to feel his tangible presence in your daily life and He will fill that need. Might not happen instantly but He wants so much to fill our every need. Make those needs known through prayer and supplication and He will hear and respond. He loves us more than we can ever know. ❤️️ ❤️️ ❤️️ ❤️️ ❤️️ ❤️️ ❤️️

I've spoken out against Yoga to many Christians. I have been shrugged off by all but one of them. Even when I present them with information directly from Eastern yogis themselves who say you CANNOT separate the spiritual aspects of yoga from the physical, I get told they're just doing it for exercise. If I were being honest, the one time when I attempted to practice yoga as a young and spiritually ignorant person, those poses are difficult and contorted my body in a way that hurt me and didn't at all seem like a natural way to "exercise". Now I know why.

I received my major shock when I heard a rock praise leader in a church I visited say she was collecting the books Twilight and. Harry Potter. Some call them selves white witches. I have since heard they have evening yoga classes. They are attempting to mix yoga and Christianity at a gym I frequented.
Yoga and Christianity will never be compatible.

Genevieve Long - the main mistake of that church you visited was having a female "leader" (unless she was only conducting women's Bible study) and the other mistake was: "rock praise".
I live in western North Carolina. I just unenrolled my 5 year old from public school because they were doing yoga!!!!! And meditation as well. I flipped out!! God help us

a little historic church in my rural neighborhood started HolyYoga classes. I knew it was demonic so thanks for educating us on what is happening. I had no idea it was getting this bad so soon. Apostasy.
Its their feeble attempt to be " Cult =urally Revelant" The church that Jesus built is none of these.
Jesus rescued me from the greys when I was a young child. He made them depart from me after the 3rd time these beings abducted me. All I knew to do was cry out “God save me!” I kept repeating it till the Shepard showed up in a white robe sending the beings into a frenzy. Then these greys got brazen in broad daylight and I was rescued again by Jesus when I called out to Him. Jesus said he could make them leave permanently if I follow Him. I agreed and they vanished in the sky. I have family members who witnessed some of these encounters. This is not a make believe child situation, it really happened. This is my testimony.
Referring to people like Oprah and Joyce Meyer, they use a horrific event or series of events, like rape, abuse, sexual assault, and the like to promote themselves and their suffering. This creates sympathy and empathy and pity, and then comradery. The next thing that it produces is a platform. The ability to "share" and commiserate with each other. This platform gives birth to a larger one. A BOOK TOUR!!! And the money comes rolling in from EVERYWHERE!!! The final god becoming satan's favorite, the almighty buck! Now we are blessed, now we are redeemed, now we have unity. Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong, and I've got a story I want to sell you.

I would like to ask for prayer for our daughter, who is 46 and at 6 weeks had a severe reaction to her DPT vaccination.....it caused high functioning autism along with severe aspergers...she never fit in anywhere anytime in her life.......and the one place she should have been safe; she was the most bullied and that was in church...we were even given a book titled PIGS IN THE PALOR and she was told that she could never have Jesus in her heart...as young adult after several attempts to re-enter the church she was a target for only more harassment. After being told all these things and being sent to hell so many times...she had her fill and flipped to what did not bully her. It started with her and her companion (a woman) watching the history channel and ancient aliens....on and on. The started to follow the writings of a man that transcribed the ancient summerian tablets and made his beliefs to be the real truth and reversed all that is truth in God's word to being lies and all that is true about satan and demons were the good truth. The believe that alien space ships WILL come and ascend them up from this earth and take all that embrace this 'truth' will escape to the real planet 'god' created for them and their true leaders. ( I could not make this stuff up) She has estranged herself from all family because they/we believe a hate filled faith and therefore we hate her.........She did accept the Lord at age 13, read the entire Bible and wanted to be baptized and knew why....the interium pastor did not feel it was important....then is when we first saw her slip quickly away and say no to all things christian. She has a brain injury from her vaccine, she has been crushed by christians and chosen to embrace this horrible deception....because she feels safe doing so. Please, please never speak anything but blessings and encouragement to anyone that does not seem to fit 'the christian mold'.........you do not know. We believe that God will perform His purpose for her life...and to His glory.........oh, we are so weary and grieve for her so.
Please can someone pray for me..I am having hard times and want to live as a Christian giving my life to Jesus Christ. For several years i was into new age stuff and even had several plantmedicine ceremonies. Just now i threw away my chrystals and book of Mr.Walsch and angelcards! I don't know what to do next. To be honest, i am scared of what is to come and do not know how to read my bible. I feel nauseous and cry a lot. Please pray for me!
The Gospel that saves today is 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 KJV. It is that Christ Jesus died for our sins, was dead and buried and rose again for our justification. The moment that you BELIEVE the Gospel of your salvation, you are saved forever. We are to believe and TRUST that Jesus paid the price for ALL of our sins, past, present and future sin. When you believe the Gospel then forgiveness is instantly imputed to you. God now sees you as RIGHTEOUS unto Him, not by your works, but by Grace through faith alone plus nothing.
After you have believed the Gospel, get a King James Bible and begin to read Paul’s epistles in Romans - Philemons. Those books are written specifically TO us today, the church the Body of Christ (all of scripture is profitable for us but not all of scripture is written specifically TO us). I recommend watching also a bible study on the book of Romans by Les Feldick of Through the bible (they are free to watch on youtube). When it comes to new-ageism, the more you read and study your Bible, rightly divided, the less you will be attracted to anything that is not biblical (like new age teachings). God's word will begin to work in you as you study it daily.
When we believe the Gospel we are sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise until the day of redemption. You have been SAVED from hell and from demons, etc. As believers we do have to guard our MINDS with Sound Grace Doctrine however because even a believer can be deceived by false doctrines. I left the new age too , over 2 years ago and have also learned about Rightly dividing the word of truth as 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV tells us. Once I learned rightly dividing, I was no longer confused about what the Bible says. 🕆

On July 26th Holy Spirit blessed me with an epiphany I will never forget. I haven't been the same since. I was born again long ago, but what I've come to realize is how insidious the other messages invaded my life. satan takes years to indoctrinate you and he uses things like television shows and he knows your weakness. There was nothing on over the holiday break so I started re-watching "Parenthood" which I loved back in the day, only now I saw the messages they were sending. That was a small part of where I learned to accept things God warns against. Here is this amazing family, which I do not have but desperately wanted. I saw the love. This time around I heard the message: they don't believe in Christ. They believe just what Steven was talking about. I think the quote was something like: they don't need God the family is god. Hattie decides to love a woman and that's okay. This long slow education over many years, and many shows and friends that come in and out of your life with their own truths, left me in a bad place. I wasn't even trying to get there. I never once thought of myself as a god nor did I want to be, but I bought into Oprah, the shows, love everyone and accept everyone as they are. I was raised in the church and went to bible study through my late 20's but no one ever warned me about deception. One night in 2016 there was a scratching at my door at 4 am in the middle of nowhere. Thinking the cat got out I started to open the door and a man said "hello - it's Stephen, hello". I slammed the door, called the police. They got lost, it took them 40-minutes to find us. When I opened the door there was something carved into it. Our front door was red metal. I didn't know what it was but the officer told me, that's the mark of the Illuminati. Last I checked, we were the only house targeted and there were many around us. So yes, you can be an innocent and saved and still fall for every story that comes your way. In the end: God never gives up on his people. He didn't give up on me. Actually Oprah walked away from the Christian faith when she was very young because she heard in a sermon that God was jealous for her and she took it as God is jealous OF her! She felt that made no sense therefore religion wasn't real. She has said this often.

Eastern Meditation is trance-like and you enter into it by lowering your resistance to demonic spirits, sometimes by repeating the same words over and over again, some times with drugs, and sometimes by playing with your navel.. The meditation David was involved in was taking his attention off himself and his circumstances and placing all his attention on God. This is a form of worship. The word may be spelled the same but that is where any similarity ends.

For example psalm 23 if you read it over and over and then think about it’s meaning and chew over it and imagine Jesus doing his word over your life as he is after all the Word. In a nutshell meditation is like worrying mulling over same thing over and over. The Holy Spirit will also amplify meanings of the Word to you if you meditate on it.

Because your video has the term "New Age" in it, I got a pro-New Age commercial along with your video! Unavoidable, I suppose, but unfortunate that it's there. Christians, or folks who think they are Christians, are vulnerable to this junk because they are so poorly taught and trained nowadays. They wave off doctrine as thought it's just a hindrance to feeling their way through the Christian life. Even my pastor in our small town church of a conservative denomination told me, "I don't having any problem with walking a labyrinth. I've done that." And the church approved the start of a yoga class in the church, which didn't last.

Jennifer Alphonso just wanted to say that I was introduced to Christ by a long haired Jesus loving drummer. My long haired friend reached an entire community of other long haired and punk rock sinners for Jesus. I am so thankful that my long haired friend didn’t cut his hair and had a heart to witness to those misfits in his community. I would have never listened to a short haired button up shirt type of person about Jesus. It has been 30 years since I accepted Christ. I am so glad the God uses people who don’t physically fit the assumed mold of what a Christian should look like. I am glad he uses people who have tattoos, piercings, multi colored hair, Mohawks, people with short hair, people with glasses, old people, young people, people of different ethnicities, people with braces, hearing aids, dentures, beards, bald people, suntanned people, short people and tall. The list is endless. I don’t really know what the stereo typical look should be for a Christian. I am just glad the blood of Christ covers us all.

The other part I wonder or would have liked to hear more is about the "repeat a mantra even if it is a verse of the Bible" that it is wrong. The most pure prayers uses the Word of God. Even Jesus used the word of God constantly in prayers. So what is the difference?
Vey few had the gift of interpreting dreams. Daniel was one. I do not think that this IS something that we should be doing. IF God give one this gift.Then IT WILL be obvious, AND ALWAYS 100% CORRECT. and follows the Bible . Because the Bible says that we are not to use repepetive prayers like the pagans do. They chant and use a mantra, it gets them into an altered state of mind. WE are not mindless, and God knows what we need even before we ask for it. It does not mean we do not pray to him. Just read the whole Bible, and see every time someone is talking to God they are actually praying. We pour out our heart to him, we let our desire be known to him, we praise him, we thank him, we cast our cares upon him ,for HE CARES FOR US. He desires an intimate relationship with us. How can a repetitive, mantra, or a piece of scripture repeated over and over , be intimate? Is that how you speak with those you love?
@@twiceborn9043 saying we shouldn't use the word of God in our prayers is not biblical. Read the Bible and you'll see disciples and Jesus himself citing scriptures all the time. Even in prayers. When you speak to loved ones, don't you try to use the same love language as those you love? Same with God and nothing is purer and shows His love better than his Word. So absolutely when I talk to Him (pray) I worship Him and tell Him my needs under the light of His Words in the Bible and use them in prayers. For example, I may pray for healing and pray that just as in verse x or y He healed this or that person and his love and mercy is greater for than to birds as He says in verse ... and so on. Absolutely! Using His Words in prayer is so much mpre powerful. You should try it.
God doesn't speak to us today in dreams and visions because we walk by FAITH and not by sight. He does speak to us, the Church the Body of Christ today through his written word (the King James Bible, rightly divided).

They new what book they were speaking of which is Jesus Calling! I wanted to know why they both didn’t name the book and author. It is the only book where a person speaks in the third person for Christ-sold millions-she the author got rich off it-millions of Christian LOVE that book and have no Check in their spirit about it. If they do have a check they stifle it because everyone else is doing it and loves it too, so it must be ok! Read the story the author wrote in the front of the book about how the book came about! There you will find your answer in the authors own words! Not to mention once again a charismatic who relies on personal revelation from God above scripture , is the author! I know lots of charismatic my family is almost all charismatic.... they love Jesus but are gullible to a fault because the movement departed from all sound doctrine like the New age movement, there is no doctrine, just individual teachers and people who have personal experiences and revelation and pastors and people who adhere to sound doctrine are not part of this new enlightened group! Can you see how it is identical to New Age enlightened people who view sound doctrine as being unenlightened?

I’ve heard that Steven is with the whole Todd White movement. If he’s with that, then he must support the NAR. I’m not judging, but I’m questioning if he has changed his stance on this. I really like Steve but when I heard this, I didn’t listen to him anymore.

I am not "in with the whole Todd White movement". Does eating the meat and spitting out the bones with Todd White ALONE qualify me as being "in the whole Todd White movement", when I listen to literally NOBODY who runs in that crowd with him? Does me listening to someone (one person), who I don't agree with on everything on, qualify me as being a part of a movement?
I have reservations about those he runs with ranging from extremely deep concerns to minor concerns, and have even publicly expressed so in ministry. I don't listen to a single one of them. I'm not "with that", whatever that would even mean, and I don't support the NAR. I find Todd's teaching on identity helpful to those with self-worth issues, such as myself, and find his passion for publicly displaying Christ in his life inspirational. That does not make me NAR (which I am against), and that does not mean I am "in" with a "movement".
Someone else in this comment section said I am "deceived by Bethel and Hillsong too", two ministries I have PUBLICLY voiced my disapproval/concern with, in multiple places. I have never even listened to a single sermon by Bill Johnson. I've listened to one by Brian Houston in over 3 years of being saved and it was because he spoke at a worship concert I was at a few years ago in Toronto. Me listening to 1 sermon in 3 years by these men = me being deceived? How am I deceived? I have NO connections to these ministries.
The fact that I enjoy listening to some of Hillsong's and Bethel's worship music does not mean I am "deceived by Hillsong and Bethel" when I don't listen to any teaching that comes from either of these churches, and have expressed concerns with both publicly. I actually provided two examples in the book of things Bethel is affiliated with and promoting that constitutes New Age working its way into the church, including a book Kris and Bill co-authored called Physics of Heaven. So I can actually write a book voicing concern about a ministry one day, and say I'm deceived by that very same ministry I am addressing the next day. I have had checks in my spirit about Bethel from the first day I got saved and haven't listened to a single teaching or sermon coming out of there.
The devil can take a day off when Christians publicly bearing false witness against those in ministry without fact-checking. Make sure what you're saying is true and based in reality, because stuff like this is how a ministrys reputation can be stained and tarnished for absolutely no reason and that does not honor or please God. Be blessed.
Steven Bancarz - from a brother to a brother, you shouldn’t even be eating that “meat” at that table. It’s dangerous and it can cause others who don’t know better to stumble. And from someone who was in the new age you probably can agree that music is more than words, and that often there is a spirit behind it. By "go out and endorse" do you mean listen to them privately? I have never told anyone publicly to go listen to Todd White. I say I do when I am asked, but I always say I eat the meat and spit out the bones. I'm allowed to say what I do in my private life, with disclaimers. That is not the same as "going out" and "endorsing".
I am accountable to God for people's ears. I am not responsible, for saying I listen to Todd in my private life, for people a) listening to those he runs with, or b) eating everything and spitting out nothing.
Just as I am called to a higher standard, you are called to a standard of not being an accuser of the brethren. As you know, discernment is different from empty accusation. And what you just did right now in vaguely suggesting that Hillsong United's worship is actively oppressed by a demon is an extremely strong charge against the body of Christ, and Jesus says we will give an account for every idle word we speak. What evidence is there of that? Not of moral corruption in Hillsong NYC or something, but of demonic oppression over their music?
Go listen to their latest song called Whole Heart. If you believe that God-glorifying song is demonic in its spiritual nature, you simply have no spiritual discernment.
I know there is a spirit behind the music. I'm very discerning, and the same discernment that set off red flags about listening to Bill Johnson (which I have never done) is the same discernment that has had me on my knees and face in tears at the alter at local churches or on my bedroom floor to their Have It All worship album getting rocked by the Lord.
I pray in Jesus name your fear of being deceived by another spirit would be matched with fear of judgement and assertions you make against those in public ministry. That, too, is a stumbling block against what the Lord may want to do through those ministries.
For example, someone seeing your comment (which is misplaced), would be enough to turn someone away from my ministry. There is nothing wrong with my ministry, but false conclusions drawn are enough to tarnish the reputation and identity of a ministry.
