My hot take? I'd really love for this to be the Cole Bishop game: a pick (or two) partnered with some other game-defining play and an evening of savage, violent football. Consolation prize? Ed Oliver is a death machine. Can I have both? We'll see. Go Bills!
I have to believe that Allen has more pressure and more at stake than anyone on the field for either team this Sunday. It’s clear that Allen is never going to get the respect from the woke sports media, to stack enough accolades to earn HoF career. Allen has to go out there and take that respect by winning Super Bowls… at least one. People can pontificate that McDermott has the most to prove but the fact of the matter is this… McD will be a head coach in this league for decades to come. Maybe not all with the Bills. The clock is against Allen, nobody has good injury luck forever and mobile quarterbacks have a short shelf life. Premier quarterback talent comes out of college every year it seems… it’s only going to get harder to get here.

@ I think the overall Bills roster will be even better and more dominant over the next 1-3 years as we alleviate cap issues and continue to hit in the draft. I’m more concerned about the odds of Allen remaining healthy enough to take advantage of that. As far as Lamar goes… something tells me that the universe will prevent him from ever winning it all as karma for the media trying to manufacture this narrative of him being the greatest quarterback of all time. 🤷🏼 I just see all the young quarterback talent that has entered the league over the past couple years and the talent coming into the league from college over the next few upcoming years and I know the competition is only going to get better. Part of me hopes that the Bills take a page out of the Packers playbook and starts to think about developing a quarterback pipeline. I’d hate to be in quarterback purgatory again for 2 decades.
