its been 3 years or so since China has started producing survival shows and debuting groups. but it seems like there is a lack of programs that really let idols show their talent or promote them. there is a lack of designated music chart shows like Music Bank or M Countdown in Korea or even idol variety like Weekly Idol. groups like UNINE and even their seniors NINE PERCENT really lacked opportunities to promote as a group on these types broadcast. i want to see those broadcasting companies start to develop idol variety to pair with the groups they debut.
I agree with you. But I think one problem is that iqiyi does not promote the group well enough. Tencent’s rocket girls has 2 seasons of their own show. As well as members are often on different programs. Maybe not as a group, but that definitely helps promote.

The problem is that iqiyi has the lack to experience of idol promotion since it's fairly new in China, the contracts also didn't say that the original companies the trainees came from couldn't take them away. In rocket girls two members were taken by Yuehua company for a period of time and the same thing happened with Nine percent since three trainees come from yuehua and too have their own group in yuehua which collides with the groups schedules.
Chuchu 0487 Iqiyi has improved with UNINE, with all the music they’ve been getting recently, but UNINE has no promotion on big variety shows Istg if they mess up anymore with THE9 (they already messed up with the name, and logo I’m just waiting for either Tencent, or Wajijiwa to sue them) iqiyi have improved with UNINE though

Hope UNINE will go all out the next 3 months to do many performances before the contract ends. They should perform songs from their latest album as all the songs are nice and I love Li Wen Han, UNINE's leader, for his awesome vocal and stage performances. He's from UNIQ. Will miss all 9 members when their contract ends. Agree that IQiYi did not take good care of UNINE which is such a waste.
