So stoked I found you guys . I’ve been looking at the other guys racks and like the way yours looks and the design and install (thanks for this vid) 🤘🏽🙏🏽🤙🏽
Hey quick question, I just purchased a Baja Designs S8 40” light bar and after waiting 30 days I finally received it from you guys , I have a question this roof rack wont fit an BD S8 40” light bar ? there isn’t enough space in between the two brackets provided from neither Victory 4x4 nor BAJA D. I’ve tried every way to try and get it to fit and still nothing!! Do you guys sell or replace my brackets for one with more space to fit a Baja Designs S8 40” light bar.
@@Victory4x4 unfortunately it didn’t fit when “installed properly”, I reached out to victory 4x4 and no word back yet. I can provide photos of the problem so you guys can see where the issue is. Based on your Install DOC on your website, it was “installed properly” and I’m still having fitment issues.
@@Victory4x4you guys have horrible customer service , it’s been over a month since I first emailed you guys regarding my defective rack and still no word , not even after sending a secondary email 2 weeks ago. I find it surprising you guys reply on your RUclips comment section within hours.
@@Victory4x4 If I'm not mistaken 2nd and 3rd gen are the same body style except the rear. I'm just wondering if this will fit my 2nd gen cos it looks cool.
@@Victory4x4 I hate to push the subject, but what components don’t line up? It does look indistinguishable to a 2nd gen from up there. Maybe just an illusion.
Toyota rates the 4Runner roof with a factory rack at "Max load 165 lbs evenly distributed." Our rack itself can handle significantly more weight than that, and we've had 250 lbs dynamic weight on it without issue, static capacity is certainly well above that. All these weight will be at your discretion as they are above Toyota "recommended" capacities. If you need more information please contact us directly at info@victory4x4.com
Really like this rack! I'm going to get one for my 4runner!
Great job on the info install.
Awesome! Looking forward earning your business.

Yes please answer this very interested in this rack but need to know if it will fit 2nd gen 4Runner (1994)
Any update on this? Will it fit?
Edit: it will not, check newer comments

A great job, Thank You
3 of the bars had stripped threads. Had to use a tap and die to rethread those crossbars

What kinda of sealant dispenser is that? Looks like it's super precise?
Permatex 85080
Any idea on how much gas mileage you lose with the rack installed?
Thomas,
Without stuff attached, it would be marginal.
The rack I received came with silver bolts, can I order a set of black ones?
Yes, we do offer a hardware kit here: www.victory4x4.com/product/046-0061.html
hi ! will this rack fix on 2nd 4runner ?
We have not tested that.
Does this one would fit 1992 4Runner 2nd gen?
We do not have any 2nd Gen 4Runner parts.

I don’t believe that is the case.
What light bar is that. And size please
I believe that one is an Amazon special, but 40" single row will fit.
How much taller is it vs the stock rack?
About 3" off the top of the roof.
Will this fit a 2nd gen 4Runner?
It will not.
