loved seeing JCC on this episode.
I hope they show some respect. The greatest manager ever
not a bad word said about J.C.C. he once let the specials support him.
Thanks for posting.
very nice very very nice
I bet you're a real joy to know.
Thatcher dead, Fergerson retires. Somewhere there´s a scouser with one wish left!
TheTheoldgit shame tories got back in for another 5 years 😂😂🏴🏴
Me lmao
Just waiting on the queen now
@@bobsmith3291, leave your sexual preferences out of it mate!
7 years on I would say he is out of wishes.
35 CD's?!! you can fit about 2 hours of audio on just 2 CD's (I'm estimating since I don't really know what the lowest quality codec is and how much space it takes up)
quality banter between merton and brand at te end
WOW I thought the guy with Paul was Ronnie Wood.
Now I understand. It was your putting words in capital letters that made the difference.
Strange you should mention that, yes it was.
Get JCC on as a guest host fer crying out loud!
SAF keeps a copy of the JFK autopsy report by his bed.........in case anyone was wondering.
He was a manager a lot longer than 26 years - but I suppose his time in Scotland is brushed over. 🙄
It doesn't seem morally correct, but it makes sense. These footballers attract HUGE numbers of people to watch them perform, which pays for them. It's not a travesty, a fraction of the money that is paid into them playing, goes to them. I think that's fair and make sense.
Clarke seemed to have always been an old man
It's a simple matter of supply and demand. The working life span of footballers is also very short. Plus top class footballers make millions for their clubs. Seems fair to me that they should share in the profits. People who dislike it should try to acquire their skills - but few will be able to. Which brings us back to my first point.
Haha
all my own work
Just appreciate the talent on show here UK! (Excluding Michael Fabricant, of course.) Not at all remarkable at home but I don't think many Brits know how lucky they are. I live abroad. Decent comedians are in short supply here.
Comedy is dead.
let's be blunt about this: british people, and I will add Irish into the argument as well, have essentially cornered the world market in being witty, and funny.
Being a Utd fan, John Cooper would praise Fergie.
He has rose tinted glasses.
He's the best manager ever.
No rose tints needed.
Jo Brand: 4 jokes stretched over 35 years.
I've never heard anyone suggest that fotball is comparable to medical research. It's an absurd comparison. But why pick on footballers? What about rock stars, bankers, captains of industry ,,, The list goes on.
Does he still play with the Stones.
A variety of hairstyles on show.
Are you in the PR department of Manchester Untited? No, there was a marked failure to satirize this ruthless businessman.
comprehensiveboy businessman? Lmao. He was ruthless because it worked and got the best results in England for over 2 decades
Businessman? He was a manager, a very successful one too. Isn't an edited photo of him with a zimmerframe satirising him enough? Bitter.
Can't believe Fergie retired
Even though he first announced his retirement 12 years before, then changed his mind? He's not immortal.
on what rung of society would you class bongo the worlds most concerned rockstar?
calm down. matches for ur average team cost 20 quid and its a really good day out for everyone involved.
Whose the blond guy??
I believe it's Michael Fabricant MP he's very sensitive about his wig
Wig on the blond guy... Jesus???
Not a wig...
Michael Fabric(u)ant
Fergie swerved it cos he knew he had Anderson and Cleverley......
So not only is football not a skill, it isn't a talent. So anyone who spent sufficient time kicking a ball against a wall would be able to play like Beckham and Ronaldo? I can only assume you are trying (without much success) to be amusing. You don't have to like football to acknowledge the skill needed. I don't much care for jazz but wouldn't deny the skills and talent of accomplished jazz musicians. Beckham and Ronaldo do smething that most people are not capable of doing to the same standard.
What does 9-11 have to do with FIFA & how openly corrupt bought & paid for football is?
You must see some connection I don't
If everyone had the same level of footballing skill, wages would be low. (That's the law of supply and demand - it's not a hardconcept to understand.) As for footballers not having skills, you are talking complete rubbish. It's a bit like saying anyone can paint a picture so there's no difference bewteen the average "Sunday painter" and Rembrandt.
So this guy is retiring, from the most corrupt bought & paid for so called sport on the planet... big deal
Ummmmm ... no? You have a strange perception of these things. On the one hand, you have an event where the objective evidence points to one thing. On the other, you have a complete fantasy. Im not sure why you are attempting to blend the two. In what way does questioning your government make you deluded?
John Cooper Clarke is funnier than all those licence fee subsidised so called ‘celebrities’ - even when he’s not trying to be funny.
Enough already with this nonsense
