I was 100% everything you just explained. I couldnt even get my eye in my peep without punching the trigger. I also went to a thumb button helped for a min then Same problem after 40 years of shooting a bow I was ready to hang it up and just video tape my brother full time in the woods. As I have to be in a tree in the fall in one aspect or another. Then I got the silverback after the second shot i was 100% cured of my target panic. I found out though there was no way for me to hunt with it due to being to jacked up when i was a little nervous and I'd let go of the safety and it would go off. I then bought the hinge from ultraview i now own 2 of them for hunting incase I lose 1 or damage one. the silverback and the hinge from ultraview have saved my hunting career!! I shoot with confidence up to 60yds. never out of a tree would I shoot that far but practicing I love to shoot out to 80 90 100 but 60 I'm still very accurate!! thanks Dudddly and thanks ultraview for allowing my to continue to hunt !!

Man, I’ve had some serious target panic for a few years now and I’ve been shooting for over 20 years.
I recently received the Carter 3 finger version of this same release on a trade. Once I got it set up for my holding weight I can tell you after just 30-40 minutes of blank bailing in my garage my shooting with a wrist strap release improved dramatically.
I am now researching the Silverback Nock 2 it to use as a hunting release. I have some concern about those times you have a tight window on a walking animal and you NEED to time that shot but I’m going to at least try it.

Hey man this is awesome to hear for you, are you still enjoying this release? I have some trigger punching tendencies with my thumb, not terribly but annoying. Not sure if this would help

Have you hunted with the silverback? And if you have how was it? In a hunting stand point?

Yes I have. Killed a bull with it. But I’m running a hinge release now.

I just bought one of these. Three years later, what do you think? Do you still use this tension release?

It’s a great release for target panic but have moved on to a hinge. More accurate

Your draw length is really short! If you want to get even tighter groups get your draw length checked and adjusted. Watch your groups shrink especially shooting back tension
