Not gonna lie, I didn't even care about his super armor when I saw the clip, all i saw was the flick buff. I was already struggling with this matchup, and then they made it harder for asuka.
1) Ky's 623H already depletes shock state 2) The thing that is changed here is that he can consistently combo out of 2K>2D>623H and now 623H doesn't send the opponent the fuck away on a hit, so you can actually use it midscreen
I like that Nago's change puts even more emphasis on his One Shot archetype. He puts all his health on the line to do a ton of damage by comboing into that super.

Parry change seems like an all around buff. I labbed it out and the parry in the video looks like its in about the same range as a parry that would normally lead into a knockdown. The change means parry does no damage but it guard crushes which means that she is able to safely start pressure off it. The knockdown off parry was kinda bad before and it didn't do much damage so i think trading damage for a better situation is super good and it also makes it a more unique reversal because there arent any other reversals that allow you to start offense. I do wish they buffed other parts of her kit instead of like an 8th s kabari change tho 😭
it's a guard cancel. The parry animation starts 2 frames before she should be able to act. anji f.s > 5h is a 2f gap, but there are 4 frames of parry visible before it makes contact.

Granted, that seems like a change they wouldn’t do, especially in a patch that is supposed to give characters more options, but that seems like a more likely change than giving a character a meter less guard cancel that gives them pressure. Also, if it was a guard cancel, why would they show it on a block string that has a gap in the current patch of the game? IDK the move doesn’t add up.
You complain about sol’s new combo routes, but look at Axl’s hp. Axl isn’t known for being the tanky bullet sponge. He’s a fragile dude that dies to a fart in the wind, but he tanked it. Old Sol would’ve decimated with a similar combo.

As someone who is freshly done with maining anji, I think this change is exactly what he needed because fujin's always had a secret level system that you see no evidence of until you play the character and being able to chain fujin into dance really helps the character's offense since that helps him counter jumps a lot better (since the implied change is being able to special cancel level 2 fujin)
From what I can see with the Sin changes driver follow up seems to have been changed since I’m pretty sure that you couldn’t combo after follow up unless the opponent was airborne, meaning it’s easier to combo grounded opponents
I believe gios target combo kicks now land the opponent right beneath her which probably gives her okizemi? Looking at the sequence at the end I don't *think* opponents used to fall so close?
They don’t 6HHH puts you about halfscreen. Gio gets En236K oki which is good, but this gives more flexibility and makes it a more viable ender against DP characters without conditioning

as Chipp main myself I'm gonna fucking eat good and the fact the biggest issue GG community problem have with Strive the amount of what Arcsys remove of the pre-existence roster and I'm playing Chipp since Xrd the only thing that Arcsys remove without being compensating are Chipp teleport and camouflage

18:02 Asuka's cubes aside from his overdrive never were proper projectiles. They wouldn't clash with projectiles, single hit projectiles would break multi hit cubes, and cube vs cube interactions in mirror matches would be really weird. Now either they are changing them into proper projectiles, or just making some moves like F.D.B work on them.
24:42 fuujin doesn't give counterhit anymore. I think thats why they're trying to buff it somehow. Maybe this allows him to keep his turn longer and gain space if the opponent is asleep on defense. Doesn't look that interesting though
Details on the sol changes and there is a *lot* Being able to cancel into vortex means sol has vortex loops again which means he has better meterless corner carry and more ways to get HKD without meter Fafnir is potentially the most significant change of the patch for Sol if the footage can be taken as accurate. Unfortunately there's too much that may have changed with it to say exactly what's going on with it rn but at the very least we know that can be cancelled into now and its launch properties on hit have been changed to allow for wallbounce. There's speculation that fafnir is faster on startup and had its recovery extended so the total duration of the move is the same making it harder to react to but less plus on block 5K seems to have been nerfed as the footage suggests it is now a 5 frame move. This makes certain optimal combos with Sol no longer work. As to whether or not this equates to Sol being net nerfed is unlikely but remains to be seen HMC can now be combod into but costs 100 meter to use. This is unlikely to affect its usability a lot but nevertheless this does mean that Sol now has a raging demon

you missed the leo dash moment and new combo route, and I think zato oppose is a fake overhead and the dev just chose stand block for some reason, if thats the case hes definitly still zattom-1. Also, you cannot possible tell me that ram giga buff is warranted. Ram now just gets her corner pressure from mid screen now. Plus the bedman combo is very doable in the current patch. Also also i think the most exciting thing about the anji buff is fujin hop looks to be throw immune, though you can still just jump and it will beat every fujin option

The only option against jump is nagiha, and if they delay nagiha it whiffs. If u block nagiha ur +7. I haven't tested it myself but according to dustloop fujin hop can be punished by throws.
Dunno why you had such a large reaction to Johnny receiving a decent change that was needed to help him against his worse matchups when goldlewis is now gonna be +120f on block
Ill be honest, i dont love how negative this video is, like its all just oh that'll be annoying oh now thier more annoying, like, i think all these changes are so cool for the people playing those characters, and it gives characters more options for things, i think thats awsome! I honestly dont get annoyed at like projectile characters and such, i think its thier actually pretty neat
Axl could always special cancel 6k, just that 6k was kinda bad and could really only do 6k into rainwater in corner or mantis midscreen, 6k sends higher and rensen/sickle flash charges faster or is just a new input and does more damage. either way, more reward from 6k and other normals midscreen and punishing people holding block on an air approach by sending them back to fullscreen 👍
6k > tornado is a good option for holding space against an airdash and it combos in the corner, so I wouldn’t say 6k was bad. Getting 6k rensen is defo a buff tho

Best part of the Testament clip is that the combo they do post throw isn't all you could get away with. Microdash c.S > 5K > 6H > Nostrovia or even just c.S > 6H > Nostrovia (especially anywhere near the corner where Nost is gonna wallbreak) means you get time to set up GR and strike/throw on wakeup. Midscreen would allow you to get like c.S > 2H > 236H > 5K > 6H > 236S for succubus it's fucking beautiful I don't think I'll ever ask for Testament buffs again.
