    Honestly, she is the only reason why I kept watching Ragnorak. Everytime she was on the screen, I couldn't move my eyes, she is not only the prettiest but her acting is really captivating

    Thank you so much for this interview with Synnove Macondy Lund! The is the first English interview I have seen with her. I first saw her in the 2018 English version of The Girl in the Spider's Web, and though it was a small part, I was immediately captivated by her stunning beauty and the strength she projected. I started watching any Norwegian movie or series she was in, including the movies Headhunter, Haunted, and the series Black Widows. There are many actresses that are beautiful. There are few like Synnove that can be both gorgeous AND embody power and authority. That is why she plays such a convincing character in Ragnarok who is both seductive and menacing at the same time. It amazes me that Hollywood has not cast her in some superhero role yet!

      Season 3 of Ragnorok is being released August 24, 2023 on Netflix.
      So you won't have long to wait. Does Synnove have enough screen time on Riveria to be worth watching?

    To answer your question: I watch the English dub. I watched it with the original sound first but when I wanted to re-watch it and not pay as much attention I picked the English one. I think it is very nice that the dub is done by the cast because that way you know there are probably no weird translations and you are also already familiar with the voices. I recently watched the German trailer because I plan to watch the show with my parents who hate reading subtitles and the trailer was already awful. In the German trailer Isolde says that Fjor is a giant instead of saying that he's a Jutul. This change makes literally no sense and makes me fear what else they might have changed.

      Jutul=Jætte which has no real English translation other then "Frost Giant". But note how tall all the Jutul family are, compared with most of the rest of the cast.

    • @halokiwi3077
      @halokiwi3077 3 года назад

      @@whssy I am aware that the name Jutul is sort of a pun on Jötnar and it does work because at least sometimes they leave it untranslated in the dub for example the scene in the classroom when they talk about Ginnungagap. I still don't think it was necessary for Isolde to introduce Fjor as a giant especially because he does not seem to be that tall. I think the actor mentions in one of the making of videos that he isn't tall so I don't think it makes that much sense. But good point :D they must have tried to translate the pun/make it more obvious.
