I love your story time, it's so real. It speaks to what we are experiencing but what a lot of experienced techs won't talk about. Please keep doing the videos and offering your honest advice and experience.
I just started buying nail stuff a month ago. But I've been watching nail videos for a while about nail prep, filing, shaping, application, using an e-file and how to use different bits. There is definitely a lot to learn and one mistake can mess up everything. Watching evie on the LongHairPrettyNails channel got me interested in doing nails. I've been watching her work for a couple of years and she definitely has lots of tips. I watched all the people I can and taking notes. There's lots to learn. Every bit of information is critical. My first nail set was with polygel. I bought a kit but the base coat bottle leaked so all my nails were popping off asap. I don't want to get into all the details but it was just horrible.
Thank you, I'm trying to start a nail career at a young age and o really was trying to figure out how people start their nail business and what struggles you guys go through in the beggining.

I love them so fun and pretty that color and ombré bomb 🔥❤️🔥🔥and I love your advice I am a new and have been practicing for about 3 months plan to go to school soon
I can definitely relate to the lifting problem. When I first started it was veryyyyy bad. Some sets would lift the next day. I cried about it and I wanted to give up so bad but I just took some time to observe what I was doing and taking into account that everyone’s body is different and that just because something works for one client that doesn’t mean it works for others. I tried everythinggg. It was the most challenging thing for me and I was so embarrassed. I’m still working on it now but nails is really trial and error and it’ll get better. Take a class, practice, invest in perfecting your craft and you will prosper. what you put in is what you get out of it.
I’m practicing acrylics on myself as well and literally I’ve mastered lifting 1.you neeeeeed to file the whole nail plus file a little extra close to to cuticle area cuz that’s where lifting mainly comes from 2.you muuuust always apply two coats of primer for every finger and doing this will solve you lifting issue
I found that once I mastered the foundation process.. the art side was easy but without good foundation it’s a waste. Love your vids🥰🥰the info is always so helpful💯💯

I want to get started so bad but i don’t know where to get a good kit, i looked up Mia secret. should i get the Mia secret nails acrylic kit? If i did get it would there also be things i need to get besides that
sis don't give it up, we all been there and if this is your passion and strength keep going, don't let that first time keep you from going, you will alway bounce back and take the mistakes you make with one client and keep practicing on people till you get it right just don't give up

sis don't give it up, we all been there and if this is your passion and strength keep going, don't let that first time keep you from going, you will alway bounce back and take the mistakes you make with one client and keep practicing on people till you get it right just don't give up

I started nail school and had to drop because I moved far away from my school. I'm working on going back and finishing my hours so I can go to state board. I'm currently a manager at taco Bell and I'm building up my kit and working on my craft. I've loved nails since a little girl and I can't leave it alone
