I reccomend flying with your braking thrusters off for long journeys, means you don't need to hold W the whole time and waste a bunch of fuel, especially given you cant pass 100m/s without a speed mod so you'll still arrive in the same time.

I usually group my thrusters and after getting up to speed I shut them off.

@@patrickjones1380 Why not just turn dampeners off then you can still manoeuvre? I only group reverse thrust cos it works both in space and gravity.
