I have an Eko and what you call a digital stethoscope. Being able to turn up the volume in an active busy ER to hear breath sounds and heart sounds can't be beat. I'm also able to hear breath sounds such as faint wheezing, ill defined crackles, etc that would be missed. There is a notable easy to define difference in breath sounds from someone who is diminished pre a breathing tx to after. Also, the stethoscope can be linked to your ear buds leaving just the stethoscope portion to be taken into a patients room so that cross contamination is never an issue and will allow you to hear breath sounds with a PAPR. This doesn't touch on that the stethoscope allows you to do a one lead EKG instantaneous read out as you examine the patient, the heart murmur software, the ability to link breath sounds you are hearing to a doctor in real time, being able to record breath sounds and heart sounds and send those recordings to a physician, etc. I use it mostly because it enhances what I'm hearing which frankly is worth the money in itself beyond the other features.
My opinion is it's good for anyone who is going to be listening to breath sounds, stomach sounds, etc. If you are using a stethoscope this should be on your list if you can afford it. The caveat is: If you can afford it.@@datzsojahna8925

If any ug student want to use cardiology 4 and can afford , can buy and use it.
In my opinion its good to hear the clear sounds and learn.
Worth the price bro
