- In this video I'll be showing you how to make an awesome Discord server in under 5 minutes. The fastest way to create a Discord server is to use a server template. This allows you to create a Discord server with the channels and roles already set up, including permissions.
When you set up your Discord server you will want to create info channels. Info channels provide necessary information that members need to know, such as server rules and roles. The easiest method is to write out the information and send it in the dedicated chat. Alternatively, you can use webhooks and embedded messages.
We also show you how to set up Discord automod for your server. Automod is a useful feature as it prevents suspicious messages from being sent in your server. If you aim to create a community Discord server then automod will help staff moderate your server and keep it safe. Regardless of how many members your server has we recommend setting up automod from the start.
Through this tutorial we show you how to set up a Discord community server, which can be used for friends, personal communities and topic servers. By having community enabled in your Discord server you get access to extra features, such as a dedicated rules channel and onboarding.

With onboarding you can set up questions for members to answer. These questions can be used to give roles to members which will customize the channels they see.
During the Discord setup process, you will create server rules, which members will need to accept before joining. This is a good way to ensure new members read the server rules before joining, while also preventing some bots from joining.

At the part where you set up the community I'm on mobile so it looks different so I couldn't do the stuff that you could do so this didn't really help

the link form template dont work
the template link is working fine for me. Try copying it, then click the plus icon on the side to of Discord to create a new server and paste the link in there.
It works maybe you should press view template then use template then copy the link but if u go to it straight from the description so just copy that link
