These judges are fantastic they kick you down when you are too cocky and raise you up when you are down.
Judges are so encouraging even they fails, I love these judges better than other Masterchef..
well, in other Masterchef, the challenges are real challenges. Not some Mickey mouse challenge for kids cooking

Damn, these judges are on a different lvl than the American judges. At least they're praising that girl even with her tower falling. Instead of ripping her a new one cause of her presentation they're praising her.
These New Zealand judges can be brutal and tactless occasionally unlike in the Australian version, though they are tamer and fair compared to their American counterpart

Seeing how the tower was collapsing, it gave me tears, as a chef I know what she was going through inside
My heart just broke for that first girl. It must have felt so awful, putting all that work into those Macarons and then, having her tower collapse in a heap. But as Chef Alvin says "Taste is king". And her macarons tasted very good. So that should count for something.
I can't work in stress and I am bad at creativity. So I can never participate in cooking competition. I love cooking and baking though.

I love master chef. From India, UK, Australia, Canada, Indonesia. But this one in NZ, had me kinda stick all because of Nadia's pretty face. She's cute and beautiful, and a talented cook. Loved the fact that she won. 😍

How is this a fitting finale? Where is the creativity in copying something?
The finale has 4 rounds.. A taste test, their own creative dish, re creating a dish and the duplication. They give marks for each round. So in my point of view, this is fair than other finales :)
I guess the ability to follow instructions properly, work well in pressure and macaroons are a challenging desert on its own

What are macarons made up of. I avoid eating because someone told me it is not veg.
Macarons do contain egg whites, almond flour, icing sugar...I guess the egg whites make it non veg but trust me when I tell you that you can even taste the egg whites if that'll help
@@chelsea7716 thank you for the info. I am a strict vege so even having egg white is against my rule. Any way just like a veg mayonnaise, someone may share a veg macaron recipe the I will try.
