For me, personally, the most experimental group in YG is Winner. The rest of the group has a set concept that is time-tested to be successful. But this group really likes to play across various genres and even choreographies. This choreography they experimented with trendy dances and other choreographies also experimented a lot with space and difficult movements with background dancers. They're artists precisely because of this reason (not to mention Mino is an actual artist & Yoon is a photographer with like, real exhibitions.) Proud of them for this. Like you said, they have control (though not necessarily freedom, since they're known to have been cockblocked by yg on numerous occasions). Just imagine if they could do whatever they want, whenever they want, they would be so successful by now.
Funfact: when this came out, a lot of people or executives who reacted to this doubted this song. I remember one korean duo reactor said that this will not be big in korea. But jokes on them, this song BLOWS up in SK and had music show wins.

Yes its summery since most of their titles are summer bops. I think WINNER's discography is either summery or sentimental, atleast from what I heard so far. WINNER is also stereotypically different from how people see YGA since their songs are pretty chill and lively, compared to edm drops and songs with twists from other groups, BUT we can all agree that YG Swag and flavor is still there, just like TREASURE. They also dont focus on choreos but their choreos are the most cute and easy to dance to inmy opinion. They're a very fun and chill group. Also, YES, WINNER is popular in korean public, I guess its because their discography that they vibe with. International kpop stans may know them but dont stan because they dont work like a typical kpop group. I just know that even if people dont stan or know them, they mostlikely heard of their songs😆 Im hoping you get to listen to their individual songs too evenon your own. Omg Ja.. you have to react to the “REALLY REALLY” dance practice too! That was an epic dance practice!! Also, most of their title tracks and even the b-sides they perform alongside the title tracks have dance practices/performances. WINNER may not be choreography focused, but when they dance… THEY DANCEEEEE and they have fun doing it. Each WINNER have their own energy and style of dancing. For example, you can really tell that HOONY is their main dancer. His movements are just so natural!! MINO just has that Charismatic Movement and chill aura to him! YOON is very energetic and charming when he’s dancing, he always has a smile. JINU is so elegant when he’s dancing, it’s like he’s floating..he’s that smooth.

Winner may not be big globally but they are super big in local south Korea, their was named as " trust listen Winner" since members composed and with all the tracks of their own music and the quality is so freaking good that there will never be a bad song. Their record of a rookie monster winning 1st win in music show after 5 days of debut is still unbreakable till now. Kang seung yoon ( the man you're whipped of xd) just released his first solo album PAGE after 11 years debut in the music industry, Mino is well known as a soloist also, Jinu debuted as a solo singer in 2019 with a single hit. I sincerely recommend checking the group bops first and then please try react to their solo music, especially kang seung yoon who just released his solo after eight years in April, they are four very different individuals from one another yet blend very well as a group, from listening to their solo music you can find such versatile in musicality and artistry when they are solo from being a whole in Winner. Omg Ja.. you have to react to the “REALLY REALLY” dance practice too! That was an epic dance practice!! Also, most of their title tracks and even the b-sides they perform alongside the title tracks have dance practices/performances. WINNER may not be choreography focused, but when they dance… THEY DANCEEEEE and they have fun doing it. Each WINNER have their own energy and style of dancing. For example, you can really tell that HOONY is their main dancer. His movements are just so natural!! MINO just has that Charismatic Movement and chill aura to him! YOON is very energetic and charming when he’s dancing, he always has a smile. JINU is so elegant when he’s dancing, it’s like he’s floating..he’s that smooth.

Winner may not be big globally but they are super big in local south Korea, their was named as " trust listen Winner" since members composed and with all the tracks of their own music and the quality is so freaking good that there will never be a bad song. Their record of a rookie monster winning 1st win in music show after 5 days of debut is still unbreakable till now. Kang seung yoon ( the man you're whipped of xd) just released his first solo album PAGE after 11 years debut in the music industry, Mino is well known as a soloist also, Jinu debuted as a solo singer in 2019 with a single hit. I sincerely recommend checking the group bops first and then please try react to their solo music, especially kang seung yoon who just released his solo after eight years in April, they are four very different individuals from one another yet blend very well as a group, from listening to their solo music you can find such versatile in musicality and artistry when they are solo from being a whole in Winner. Yay YG Stans all day let's GO. Winner have a great discography and are highly respected in Korea. They actually started with five members. I recommend 'Empty', 'Baby Baby', 'Fool' and their newer hits 'Ah Yeah' 'Millions' 'Mola (no MV)'. The guy you like Kang Seungyoon(YOON) just had a solo called IYAH and the main rapper Mino has 'Run Away' and 'Fiance' solos!!!

For me, it’s usually Yoon x Mino that takes my heart.. but Jinu and Hoony are major WRECKERS and at some point made me swerve to their lanes.
