Hope you know that there was once a time when WINNER wasn't underrated internationally. In 2014 when they debuted they had an immensely large fandom to match their popularity upon debut. They were monster voters who were on par with EXO's fandom (those who voted during MAMA 2014 will remember) however releasing zero music in 2015 really impacted their global fanbase, many left, particularly the ones who only stan for popularity. It was also an unexpected thing for us ICs cuz we didn’t even know that Yoon had KOMS on his schedule. He kept it a secret as well as the other WINNER members from us. Yoon wasn’t even expecting to become KING, he thought he was only going to make it to the 2nd round and then get eliminated. He only was there to promote HOLD AND REMEMBER for OT4 last comeback. Omg “HOLD” MV was so epic and was such a gift of laughter/smiles when it came out in March 2020! It was the time that the whole world had to go in lockdown due to COVID. This song really did help A LOT of people and WINNER’s comeback with REMEMBER MV and full album was so comforting and bittersweet. Since it was the last OT4 comeback cuz Jinwoo and Hoony enlisted in April 2020. So yeah ICs were going through it last year in many ways, but thankfully we had Mino and Yoon sticking to their promises. They really made it feel like there’s no hiatus because both of them have been so active and giving us content and music. In the “HOLD” MV, WINNER were playing the annoying and protective brothers of AKMU’s Lee Suhyun. Also, Yoon has the double role of playing brother and then the boyfriend in this MV. LOL! They literally had to spray black hair dye on his hair cuz he had the real/blue hair for the comeback. We love ACTOR YOON tbh.
