So I read a book in a store once with a plot similar to this: Young teens wake up in a desert with aliens, building structures from ancient civilizations, and people from other time eras. They realize they're in a giant arena fight to the death against other planets, and it's orchestrated by god-like aliens. It's pretty good. I spent ten minutes trying to find it on Google. No luck. But I absolutely love plots like this, and the Animorph type shape shifting adds something special to the game.
There is a film that sorta ends like this. Hacker kids track down to what’s essentially a hacker or someone from Area 51 and at first it’s found footage, Lawrence fishburne is in it as a scientist (don’t want to give away too much)
@SkillyMcFilly its a staple of the 2000's lol and yea, that's a good question. I could see if they did but not keeping the other aliens as options to change back into is different from Ben 10. It might be to much for them tho idk tho I've never been a dev lol
I thought that was so sad. I took it as him accepting that the Alien invaders were about to destroy where he was broadcasting from. Especially with the visuals matching there at the end.

Which pretty much makes it feel like surviving humans have been mostly expected to be expendable lab rats for the Hix weapons test as they likely did not expect to find survivors I'd bet. Added the mc showing to be more able to quickly deal with their army with greater ease becoming an alarming concern for the Hix especially as the mc encountered the resistance. The "we" in my title is referring to humanity as a whole and their fight against the alien invaders the Hiks in this game. Whatever assumption you made from the title is on you. IGP made a fantastic video about clickbait a while ago. I highly recommend it: ruclips.net/video/hptCg-NOy-U/видео.htmlsi=E6qhVLGcJz7QTV6b. The TLDR is there's good clickbait (which isn't a lie but enticing) and bad clickbait (outright lie or has nothing to do with the video just to garner clicks).
Definitely an hour well spent. Fast-moving, looks great and the music was epic. Would like to see more. Only thing I found a bit disappointing was the anonymousness of the central character. Dystopian sci-fi guys in spandex jumpsuits and masks/helmets seem a bit dated. Hopefully we'll learn more about him as the game progresses. Then again, it might just be me because much of the stuff I've been watching recently has had well defined characters like Indiana Jones, Sebastian Castellanos and Charles Reed (I watched your Sinking City playthrough over Xmas - great game, except for the crappy boat that didn't want to move half of the time) .
Yeah, I would like some backstory about our MC. Make us care about him some more. It seems their focus is larger though on humanity as a whole. Dude, the boat in The Sinking City is the worst part of that game lol.

lmao, nah they are using creature assets from the Unreal Engine Assets store just like 99% of indie game devs. Nothing wrong with that. They’re legally purchased, credited in the games credits, and utilized in a unique way in their game.
If indie game devs didn’t use premade assets from digital store fronts then like 90% of indie games wouldn’t exist.
When I read the word "we" I think Co-Op.
😂 clickbait 😂
Dude, the boat in The Sinking City is the worst part of that game lol.
dude i remember when you played this back in May, i knew the intro sounded familiar! looking forward to this one for sure💯🫡🤘
I was so happy to see the full release for this game. Glad that it's just as good as the demo so far too. Thanks for watching!
