I love it! This was our family in the 80s...Endless SAABs in the driveway. Never had a 900 TURBO SPG but we did have a 79 5 door 99 Turbo hatchback with those Aztech rims!! And our neighbors had 2 99 Turbo hatchbacks.
Great video, Jacob! The C900's are amazing vehicles built to take on dirt roads before every car became a butt ugg SUV. I used to take mine out on the backcountry roads when I lived in Vail. I still miss that car! My fave was the red '85 FPG. Love the Inca/Aztech rims and that color. I had a set of those and a set of the 24 slot flat discs for my '83. One set with studded snows and the other with summer tires. It was a mountain winter assault vehicle with the studded tires. Good thing you live in AZ with that cold start quirk. 👍🏼
If you pull the two splints of the foldable bench, you can take the bench out and have additional 6 Inch (or even more) more room for the feet if you sleep with your head at the end of the car (where its even more dark).
Thanks for posting. It was good seeing a few 900s out in the wild. I'm loving my totally rebuilt 93, 900 convert. This will be my first summer on the road.
How cool a Saab car camping trip! Always thought the 900 hatch would be perfect for that... I heard they were maybe going to bring back the hatch just before Saab stopped producing cars, really wish they had. Cool to see the off road adapted 9-7X!
yo man, car looks great, I have an '88 Malachite Green, beautiful cars. I just have one delicate request: please let's get some different music in your videos 🤣🤣🤣 - "rickety cricket" all jokes aside, thanks as always for the c900 content, peace and saab on
Perfect camping, sleeper, stargazing car, even if it is *only* an FPG. This would've been fun for last night/this morning's Solar Storm (which I couldn't see b/c I'm apparently in the only MA town that was cloudy?) Yes, iPhone for the win, but I'm biased.🌅
@@AutoAutopsy ah I guess that’s true! Can’t please old buggers like me too. Love the channel, Kia Ora from New Zealand. Just bringing a 90 900 Cab out of a barn on to the road again! Subbed.
PS-iPhone low light pic was better. The Android was over exposed. I have the Samsung S23 Ultra and I think the night mode is a weak element on that device, but amazing in most of the other modes. Just my experience.
This is the kind of stuff I have dreams about! Keeping the Saab community alive, and it’s awesome.
(That red 900 turbo was making me act up lol)
Yes! We all have to enjoy these cars while we can 👍🏼😄
The red one. Inca wheels do it for me. So great to see all 3 900’s winding their way home.
😁🙌🏼

thanks for the idea!
Great vid, it all was wonderful.
Thank you very much!
Love all three 900s but definitely the more rare Malachite Green for the win.......

Fantastic! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it tons. It always feels great to drive a car you’ve worked on
Lived in my ‘93 900S for a few months! Upgraded to a van but still use the 900 on nice weekends
👊🏼👍🏼
When it comes down to wheels on a 99 or a 900 nothing beats an Inca. iPhone picture was best colorwise.
👊🏼🙌🏼
👏Lovin the 900 brigade. Would love to join you guys in mine from Brooklyn, NY
👊🏼🙌🏼😁
Looks like a blast - i miss camping in my old 900
It was a ton of fun. 10/10 recommend

Agreed, thanks! 😁🙌🏼
@@AutoAutopsy The 900’s have a quite strong following in Japan and there are some interesting You Tube channels for them there…
Very cool trek in the 900’s! Color me green with envy!
Thanks bill, it was a great time!

Agreed! We unfortunately didn’t get much of view of it where I’m at either :(
Great to see - so did you manage to to solve your leakages you showed earlier?
I have not unfortunately. after SOC is over and I'm done working on the 9-3 (hopefully), I am wanting to get back to this!
Excellent!!! 👏👏👏
Thank you! 😃
This reminds me when I took my Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo on fishing spots a lot 🏁🏁🏁🎬👍😁
Nice! Sounds like fun
Awesome! I'm looking at a 2003 and 2005 Saabs now. Both around 100k odo. Any advice?! Timmy C Arrowhead
Nice! Not much of different between the two. Are both the same model?
Y'all need to go camping up in the White Mountains 😊
That would be fun!! Its beautiful up there
900 buddies?? that's a lot of people! 😂
🤣
That music. Yish.
I always get a complaint no matter what genre of copyright free music I put 😬 lesson #1: you cannot please everyone! 🤷🏻♂️

Wonder if I could do that in a 1996 Saab 900. 🤔
Do it! I believe the NG 900’s and OG 9-3’s have an awkward hump in the middle with the seats folded down though :(
Wish I could have participated!
it was a good time!

What? No fishing??
Nope 😬🙃
Very cool trip! Very beautiful nature. Very nice cars! Very great video! 👍🏻😊 iphone is better 😊
Thank you!
14:27 of the given options, the Iphone, but really, the correct answer is Pixel :p
🤣👊🏼
I miss Craig's viggen..😆
The figgen 🪦
🏁🎞🎞🎞🏁👍

Android vs IPhone? Uses android photo for thumbnail. Lol.
🤫 I can change it
