Many people complain you review products and get commission. I think it’s great! I’m always up for reviews on products bc it’s hard keeping up, (for me anyways), so I relay on product reviews and have no problem with anyone getting commission. Thanks Rudy!!
I Got One..If you distill from a container don't run the Discharge tube back into the water you are cleaning like Rudy did in this video. You put it in a separate container just for the discharge.
This is really good RO systems are the way to get pure water, but if you are drinking RO pure water you should be adding electrolytes to your diet or it will deplete your body of good electrolytes, that is how it was explained to me.
Welllllll, I drink only super filtered water AND I need to take electrolyte (NUUN TABS) tabs every day I do a FIVE MILE WALK! ONLY about 5 days a week. Otherwise my legs cramp up!
You sold me! We have lots of lakes here in Idaho so I’m buying one of these to clean my water when shift! We are at the beginning of the pole shift so I’d advise others with the means to get one too.
Totally awesome review of a fabulous affordable portable essential product❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you so much for the introduction n the discount code❤❤❤❤❤❤Loving it!!!!
That’s exactly what I’d say if anyone came into my home and asked what it was! A toaster. I rarely keep stuff like that out in open, but ya never know…Thank you Rudy!
We have several different water filtration systems. We have 2 Berkeys with ProOne filters. We have 2 Zero Water filters Glass. We have 3 water distillers and can distill 48 gallons per day and we have 2 Reverse osmosis systems counter tops. We filter our rain water in the Berkey first, then it goes into the water distillers to purify the water for our animals. We put tap water through the zero water and then run it through the reverse osmosis counter top systems. We want to make sure everything that is not supposed to be in our water, isn't. Very happy with the results. Our biggest worries are the PFAS/PFOA's, nano plastics, fluoride, chlorine, lead and pharmaceutical drugs and anything else that might be in there. We have had our water tested after our filtration systems are done filtering it, and our water is clean and pure. We have ordered enough filters for 4 years each. Once something happens as in SHTF, I was worried we would not be able to get filters, so we stock up whenever we have some extra funds. You need clean water to survive. We also have a dozen of those lifestraws as well.
Tip: They have a 20pct off code, too. MC20 I think it was. Will get more than 40usd off, esp if you get xtra filters or other stuff. (I grabbed a fan that is also a battery pack with built in solar panel.)
Rudy, I truly enjoyed this episode. I had no idea about TDS. I did some research and purchased a set that included a separate tool that also measures PH. I’m a handicapped senior that is about to move to the beautiful town of Blue Ridge, GA. My cabin is on a deep well and I’ve never tested it. The property was a cow paddock. I’m hoping to grow vegetables as will need water for hydration. I inherited my cabin and really know nothing about it except that it’s about 40 years old and built using cedar logs. Not siding that looks like logs. I plan to do a build out so I will be more comfortable. The cabin was inspired by Little House on the Prairie. It’s very dark. My addition will be light with lots of security features. I love your channel. I’ve learned a lot from you. God bless you and your family, Joy
Why not just set up next to a sink to run the discharge there? Wish I had waited for this unit instead of the simpure which can't be installed till a plumber fixes a problem in my kitchen. This one is twice as much but I'd be filtering now.
Thanks again for all your great reviews. Maybe in the future you could do a "Cost per Gal." I'm confident you are enjoying your LONNNNNG Summers up there in Fairbanks.
Rudy this has been so helpful for me! I bought one of these units last year and sadly, I have not been able to figure out how to use it! I know… I’m not technical at all. But I sure am glad you are! Thanks a million from your biggest fan!
If you're drinking water with TDS readings that low, I sure hope you're supplementing your minerals. Sodium, Calcium, Potassium and Magnesium, among others, are critical to good health (and even life itself). How long is the warranty? Can the system run on dead batteries via the charging port? How much current/power does it consume?
Man…I get it and agree…but….but for myself, I’m not worried about that in a shtf situation. I’ll just eat salt, Himalayan . Frankly, we all will be lacking vitamins and minerals with bug foods, or horrible foods they will be offering in the future. Just my opinion, but I do agree with you to replace if you can. Water is important
@@cbass2755 And many will be very lucky if they only have that but if you're prepping, why would you not plan appropriately? Nothing wrong with Himalayan Sea Salt, I lean toward Redmond's but six of one half dozen of the other. I also have a supply of multi-vitamins/minerals PLUS a supply of Potassium and Magnesium Complex. I may not have the best of foods or the best food balances but I will have years worth of vitamins and minerals to keep myself as healthy as possible...they're cheap insurance.
Hello and blessed Sunday to you! I bought this filter after your video and it works fantastic! I do have a question though …how do I store the unit when not in use? Many thanks 😊
Rudy, thanks for the instructions, really helpful, on your recommendation I got one! I just tried out my new system and it works great. Can you, or anyone else help with this question... after using the machine for camping, when I go to store the system for several months I want to be sure that mold does not start to grow in the machine or filters before I use it again. I've followed the instructions noted on the website, however it does not give much detail for after use storage. What I'd like to know is, do I need to remove the filters from the system so that they can dry out separately? Or is it safe from mold growth if I were to keep the filters in the machine machine instead of removing them? Does anyone know which direction is best?
Under $300 with free shipping using AP's discount code for both the RO unit as well as an extra RO membrane and (2) hybrid filters. IMO, I think this is a decent price for what you get.

I bought one after the Palestine Ohio train wreak and got 4 x-tra sets of filters cost a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ but happy I have it.
I did the same thing, but could only afford 2 extra sets of filters. I love having it, it brings me peace of mind.

That's actually important though.
After your video on the Zero Water pitcher I got one for my 4 grown kids and grown grandkids that Christmas.
Do they work well from broke or river or spring water have they tried the machines out ta 👍🤗🙏💖🇬🇧
I bought one for my elderly mom and enough Zero water filters for a year.
@@jacquelinejohnson7541 I think they are saving them for an emergency as I am. I'm sure my grandsons are using them.
This must be the hot new item because I won one of these from another channel.
Rudy ,
Please send me a pint of the good stuff 👍
I had been looking at that particular RO portable system … thank you for the review
Thanks Rudy!! You always try and give us tons of good info for different preparedness supplies! ❤

Not true! You should be receiving adequate minerals, vitamins, and electrolytes from your diet and not just drinking water.

Very informative review. Thank you, Alaska Prepper. Just got my ITEHIL ready for set up. Charging in the sun as I type.
My first thought too..toaster..lol
Nice to see you review another water 💧 filtration system.
I'm enjoying this one immensely.
Thank you Rudy ✝️❤️,i watched this two days ago but 👍 thank you.
Prefilter with 2 or 3 layers, at rhe intake holes! It will save you money on buying new or more filters!
How And with what please?
@@gardeninggirlct An old T-shirt or Cheese cloth. Prefiiltering keep the larger debris out, for a long life of the filters.

That is awesome , THANK YOU A . P .
The only water I've found that reads zero ppm on my TDS meter is steam distilled water. Regular reverse osmosis distilled water has many ppm.
Our TDS straight out of the tap is almost 400!
Thanks AP. That looks like a good system. I could really use one. I wish it was in my budget. Much Love ❤
I was thinking if getting one of these.
Thanks for sharing this was refreshing with the creek test. : )
Thanks A P. I love my Fachioo gravityvfed water filter. I never knew water could taste so good.
Great informational video AP. I was just looking last night at making the DIY Berkey and dropping in a fish tank aquarium uv light!
