usotsuki... it's means liar in japanese, and strangely, it fits PERFECTLY with Makoto...
I'd say that Sekai is the biggest liar of them all. Makoto is more of an undecided cheater which is ironic because his given name means "fidelity" and/or "truth".

how is this anime creepy? these plot literally exist for most adult dramas out there. There is one k-drama which is similar called "the world of the married"

I would have done everything exactly like Makoto has done... until he fucked.... everybody. But at the beginning I was the same opinion about Kotonoha Katsura and Saionji Sekai.

This actually would have been an excellent series if they had more money to produce it. The animation and art in this anime was really bad.
I actually thought the story in this show was really dark and interesting. I liked figuring out that Sekai was truly the real manipulator the whole time really. Lying about being pregnant? That’s pretty screwed up.
There was an actual dynamic between those characters interactions. You could argue that meaning behind School Days was not cheating on people because look at what happened to Makoto.
It’s actually pretty intelligent for a poor production. That and they needed to work a bit more on the actual romance. It was a bit lacking in that aspect with Kotonoha.
Man, this could have been such a good series.

I didnt even bother watching the anime just played the vn (I did the route where I sticked with sekai and ignored kotonoha if u were wondering) bc I read the fandom and found out Makoto was a real jerk in the anime
Do you think Sekai is evil? I think most people who played the VN will realize that Sekai is a great girl who just wasn't honest with her feelings in the beginning [ No one would have died if Makoto had simply broken up with Kotonoha]
