She gets driven into deep depression and goes insane - but she still love Makoto despite what he did. And in the end he gets killed. I found it so sad when she was on the yacht at the end clutching Makoto's head to her chest...he may have been an asshole but she loved him anyway.

But she was if not the best one of the best characters in the anime. She was so kind and loving, she just fell for the wrong guy + dragged into a terrible situation

Kotonoha really loved him and he caused her so many problems.I've heard lots of people calling her an idiot and it makes me some sort of angry, because they really can't understand. Being a yandere actually is caused from a traumatic experience, thus the reason for Kotonoha to be like this.
Well , I love Kotonoha , But she's really stupid . Kept Following that asshole after she saw him cheating on her , danced with Sekai while she got raped because of him , saw him kissing that short bitch and even knew that he had sex with Sekai after she knew she were pregnant . What makes her stupid is , she passed through all that suffering and she's still like "BUt i'M mAkOto kUn'S gIrLfRiEnD !" , and after he cheated on her with all the school's girls , she was ready to start another relationship with him at the end like nothing happened ! Thanks Sekai , The last thing I would see after going through School Days hell is makoto with kotonoha again .
