i have a DS-1 and was curious how to use the middle knob since i hate it a lot when we're in the studio and suddenly i feel like my volume cranks up a notch whenever i turn it on, thanks for this very informative video, worthy of a sub!

When you have a noisy power supply, a temporary solution can also be using a 9v battery. Many pedals have a place to connect the battery. Just make sure to disconnect the cable when not playing, to save battery.

Wait so you connect the pedal to the guitar and the pedal to the amp, how do you get power to the guitar? Does it go through the pedal?

Yup! You're guitar doesn't need any power as it's passive. As long as your pedal and amp have power, you're good to go!
