Sir I am using the latest beta version of WhatsApp. My problem is that Google Drive shows "Never" when I select "Only when I tap Backup". It doesn't change. So I am unable to backup please help how to fix it.

There's no database as I deleted the app from my phone by mistake and when I reinstalled the app it took the most recent backup which had only messages that came after I deleted the app. Is there any other way? Please help ! I have lost 6-7 years backup and I need it.

@@thefabgirl7897 If you delete the app and restore the data after installing the app again (that is stored on Google Drive Or in your phone's file manager), you can get everything back.

Today is Oct 23, 2023: In the morning I randomly got a mesaage saying "Something is wrong with the chat history, click restore". Clicking on restore was not doing anything. So I restarted the phone and now all my chats since September 3, 2023, are gone. Media content is still there in internal storage, but the chat texts are gone. In the whatsapp>database folder, the last backup is showing from September 3 only. What can I do to restore my latest chats over the past two months?
