I've litterally seen youtubers accept partnerships with alt shops and then complain gommehd removed thier youtube rank (ja, ich meine dich, esdeath). I see so many people just not realizing what alt shops really are, and it's honestly scary.

Just purchasing a username and password goes for 1-3 cents, since you can't do too much with them. Getting email access with the purchase is where you get closer to $1-5. and getting accounts not yet migrated to Mojang (since migrating to their login method is virtually painless and doesn't require the old email, just user/pass) can go for up to $20 each, but $5-10 is more normal.

It will be affected but if prices swell to dollars, no one will purchase them. Accounts are compromised through credential stuffing. Through an automated system, people obtain database leaks from other websites and test them on the targeted platform. It’ll be harder on Microsoft, but due to the lack of purchases and because new methods are being discovered, account prices will actually drop over time. Plus ghost cheating will also grow. Yes I am a Minecraft cheater if you’re wondering…

I've used one of these in the past called the altining. the accounts worked and the ones that were advertised as being unbanned from hypixel were, in fact unbanned, however, after a week or so the accounts stopped working. I suspect this is because they sell the same accounts to multiple people, so when someone else buys an account you previously bought, they change the account password so it stops working for people who already bought them.

@@Tenno_M if something is redacted, then it is hidden, for example if you go to a book and draw black marker over the lines so you cant see them, that is called redacting them. So themisterepic hid the names of the sites and instead wrote "redacted", because he doesn't want them to get attention

Mine got too once, during a few month period where I didn't play minecraft and didn't check my emails so often, so I didn't even notice that I got a notification that my password has been changed. Eventually I tried to play minecraft again but found that my username was different and my password too so I changed it back. (also changed my Gmail account password just to be sure). Didn't know what the guy who stole my account did with it in the time I didn't play at first but when i logged onto hypixel skyblock to check it out one day, I had a bunch of what I assume is late game items already. So uh, thanks hacker, I guess?

I guess this access - is a pack of login, password and secret questions, so this "account tokens" and projects like MineLe**s are rather allowed?

the cheating videos are from glory, hackingmc, and an unknown youtuber (they’re playing gomme, so i’d assume its ghost or haze or another german youtuber)
the shops shown are alts rip (trash shop, overpriced), alts shop (at least i’m pretty sure it’s alts shop, iirc it’s a scam shop), thealtening (not a scam shop, but they resell alts)
i’m not really into cracking accounts anymore, but i’ll try my best to explain. the two main methods used are combo leechers and sqli dumping. basically how combo leechers work is you input keywords (usually generated with a keyword tool), then it searches those keywords and finds paste sites such as pastebin, and if it finds any email:pass combos it’ll put them into a text file. i can’t really explain sqli as i don’t know how it works. so after you get your combos from sqli or a combo leecher, you need a checker, a program that automatically checks to see if those combinations are valid. you also need proxies, basically different ip addresses, since eventually your ip will get banned. after you input your combinations and proxies, it’ll start checking to see if any of them are valid, and if they are, it saves them. there’s also credential stuffing which is basically taking a combo from a database leak and trying it on other websites since people sometimes use the same passwords for every site

Quite the opposite. These alt shops have gotten really good at making their illegal operations sound legitimate.
I had my account hacked back in 2017. Once I realised I was banned from several servers who were actually quite understanding that it wasn't me which was nice. I still feel the impact though. Yesterday I joined Cubecraft for the first time and was banned for being hacked which I quickly was able to appeal and see it was from 2017 when I was hacked.
Its really sad that some people got banned from their favorite server because some loser living in their mom's basement hacked on their account.

@@M0D776 that is possible, but if it's from a different website, and you get credential stuffed, it's your fault because you should use different passwords for each site.
6:46 Well, I have information about this. These shops will use the program in the video. That program will search keywords on the internet. Those keywords are usually like Minecraft leak, 5k combo etc... After that your list will be full of mc acc but you will have to check those acc with checker. And believe me, finding a checker is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. But if you do everything right there is a possibility that no accounts will work...
Fun Fact: Lots of those accounts gets purchased in Turkey because making your original account (with your email and purchasing minecraft from minecraft.net) costs 210 turkish liras. And those accounts are sold for 10-50 or even 5 turkish liras

I wouldn't see less alt accounts as a positive thing. The problem with less accounts is that cheaters are more likely to hide the fact that they are cheating, which means there will be even more closet cheaters. Closet cheaters usually use stuff like very small amount of reach or aimassist, which is much harder to detect for servers and have an overall more negative impact on the community.

This was a super interesting and insightful video. I was also surprised to learn that alt accounts cost pennies.. I’m interested to see if mojangs Microsoft transition will actually make an impact or if there will be new “clever” ways of getting alts. I wonder where these websites are hosted because they seemingly face no repercussions for stealing and selling peoples personal data.

I remember one time i logged into a minecraft server i had never been on however I spawned in someone's base. There were multiple players in the base and they tried to figure out who I was. Turns out my account info had been sold to them and by sheer coincidence I logged into the same server they used.

This is genuinely infuriating, "people" like these steal everything someone works for and then deeming it "legal". At this point it's upsetting to the point where if I had a chance to completely ruin the life if someone who was doing these things, I would. The absolute sheer anger this is causing to so many people are fucking disgusting. Whoever that supports these shitty activities and crimes must be stopped, even if this may cause their death.

Yeah, I remember that time, I was using an stolen account that my brother got I assume by purchasing it, and he lost it a couple of months later, the original user managed to recover it.
That was also the time when minecraft windows 10 edition got released, so I got that free code that mojang gave away to all java accounts just before the account was recovered.
The dodgy generator is propably mcleaks. It doesnt actually steala ccounts as far as I am aware, but it does swap the authentication server for minecraft breaking log in. Simply launch it again and minecraft will work again...

UFAs used to be 30-50 cents each. Now that supply is low to the sheer amount cracked they are above $10. Just last year you could get an full access account for 30 cents

Also, NFA (Non-Full access) accounts was often sold for ONE CENT. This was because they where so so common, I would maybe get 30 NFA’S and 2-3 SFA’S per checking session.
And YES, me and my “team”/hacking friends DID use SQL Injection for getting Minecraft Accounts.

These make me sick, my heart would be broken if i couldn't log into my account, ive been playing since 2014, on a cracked account, then in 2016 on a real one. Played earlier on cousins playstation
I play on a hardcore anarchy server and a ton of people buy alts through these sites. They ruin the "hardcore" part of the server by just joining with alts instead of dying and having their 1 account perma banned.

I actually have been involved in this kind of market before. You know Minecraft account giveaways? Not giving away codes, but emails and passwords. After watching a few ads and joining a Discord server you get access to a Pastebin link littered with MC account details, up to around 500 separate emails and passwords.
Almost all of the time these wouldn't work as others have claimed them. But one time I was able to snag an email (using the email I could reset the account's password linked to it) and I was ecstatic.
I owned the account for 30 days. It was named _urstepmom at the time, and I renamed it to my IGN (DaveBxb). It had a Realm attached to it so I invited all my friends who had MC to play with me.
30 days after first logging into the account, I lost access to it. Couldn't access the email, couldn't access the account. I checked the account on NameMC, it was named back to _urstepmom. That's when it hit me; These aren't people who have quit MC and decided to giveaway their account, but these accounts were stolen. I had just used an illegal, stolen account for 30 days.
Since then I've bought my own account. My IGN is DaveBxb (or right now SirApSingh), but if you search up DaveBxb on NameMC you will find that account I stole.
Freaky stuff.

I actually bought an account from one of these sketchy shops 2 or 3 years ago. Had no idea what it was about but I needed an alt to infiltrate on a factions server, so I bought one for 5 bucks (unmigrated). I still use it to this day. I had no idea about all of this.

Even though it is bad, and I'm not arguing about it. In some poor countries like Russia (which I am from), ppl are very used to buy these accouts because license worth so much. I myself used to buy these accounts not to cheat, but to play with my friend in local game.
These sites not to by justified but I just wanted to share the other side of the coin.

Why do people even burn money on alts fr, your just gonna get banned and buy more or the actual owner gets access back to the account.
Some people just enjoy hacking... to be fair to them if each account takes an hour or two to get banned and they cost pennies then it’s probably kinda worth it... not supporting the hackers but it kinda makes sense

Alts shops seen in this video are. alts.rip, alts.shop, thealtening. RUclipsrs Clips used (Without Permission) Glory, Hacking MC, Omikron or Leakedpvp (idk). Clients used Vanta, Vape, Sigma. Who cares if its illegal its not morally wrong, Its like smoking weed are you bad person if you do it? No.

stealing accounts is definitely morally wrong. its harming lots of innocent people who just want to play mc and helping toxic cheaters and griefers. there's a difference between smoking a plant and stealing/fraud
There are many ways acc store owners get acces to accounts, one increasingly popular method involves joining a discord server and "verifying" your mc email adress. They create a bunch of discord alt accounts so that the server seems more lively and therfore trustworthy. Most of the time if someone asks you to vc it's an attempt yo steal your account, so the best things you can do is to not give out any information or stall the person to waist their time. People who offer free cosmetics or rank upgrades most of the time are also scammers. Please dont fall for those people and stay safe.
One of the more popular software used for cracking mc account was eggcrack and I think it also was able to crack other accounts along side minecraft like netflix

I would say certain Alt shops such as the Altening while the free accounts and limited access accounts are definitely stolen the full access accounts I would say they pay for why they are generally trustworthy

What used to be one of the most common ways for hackers to snatch accounts are servers with plugins where you have to "log in" to the server with a password to access your saved data or special items/kits bought through their website or such, where players pretty much ALWAYS use the same password as their Minecraft account, and register with their email or have their username be the same as their email address. So don't be stupid, use different passwords for everything and be careful where you put your personal information.

When I was about 9-10yo I got my minecraft account stolen ( Because I was stupid and got scammed ), fast forward ( some months or years, I don't remember) I saw my account in the server I played everyday, told him that was my account, and that it got stolen, and he just replied with "idk someone sold me the account for 1€" (which is 1$), I got so damn mad...

Thankfully I've never heard of these. I only ever pirate games because I have standards. The only reason I pirate is to make sure I actually want a game, so far there hasn't been a game I ever wanted to buy thanks to pirating and I usually just throw the game into the trash. The only thing I did actually buy after pirating is Minecraft.

U said it not quite true. So programs that guess passwords almost aren't a thing at all, they're really good only for targeting og names no more than that. And breaches from Minecrafts database happen comparably rarely most of these accounts are just people who used same password on breached websites as their Minecraft account.

I tried to play on alts and had to install a authenticator software and when I tried to play mc a few weeks later I couldn't log in, I tried so many things to be able to log in but I couldn't find out why I couldn't log in but then I came across a post mentioning alt authenticator software.

I don't want to create a Microsoft account. The original intent of Minecraft accounts was to be as seamless as possible without ANY other info than your username and password, that's all.

My friend decided to log onto minecraft after a few months yesterday. But when he logged on, he saw his name and skin was changed. Looking at his name history, it was changed in february. Knowing about these websites, I inmediately told him to change his password. It's scary this can happen to anyone.

I see youtubers acting like white knights and crashing p2w servers because "its against the tos!" while also taking sponsorships from alt shops and it just makes me mad because apparently the minecraft tos doesn't matter to them when they're getting paid.
I had a several years break from Minecraft and when I wanted to play again, I couldn't log in nor reset my password as my email address wasn't associated with that account anymore. I knew it was stolen for sure when I saw the skin has been changed. I wonder if my account was sold like this too and if it got banned anywhere. Gosh how I wish this wasn't a reality, some people really are a cancer to this world...
