In 2006 i went to Tunisia and hated the whole place, and never felt safe, then a few months later was the first time i went to egypt, expecting much the same but boy was i surprised, beautiful country and wonderful people, i'm hoping to go back to Hurghada early next year, think it will be my 9th time to egypt
Good on you for giving away the crisps without making a spectacle about it. I hate when youtubers do charity for content. You've just earned yourself a subscriber!
Could you write the streets names in the coments, in summer I will travel to Egypt and will also test the ceap restaurants. Or coild u post some nice areas. Thanks for your videos they are great, and I am so hyped of my holidays in Egypt
Arabia area is home to many hotels like the beachfront Scandic Resort. Close by are many restaurants around the corner of Talateen Street and Corniche boulevard
See if you can do a video of Aswan, great history and i love the market there, the High Dam/ the unfinished obelisk, philae temple, so much to see and do, but the big market was the best
While i've been to egypt many times, but you are brave to eat the local food, i just don't think my stomach could handle it , btw i'm in Barnsley/Wakefield boarder, moved here 25 years ago from down south and i just love the Yorkshire people and i love your video's. I know a lot of people are put off because of the local hassling tourists but i've found just learn a few basic arabic words , like no thank you and thank you and they then think you have been many time to egypt and know the score and from my experience they then leave you alone.
Hello I went to the best seafood restaurant in hurghada I had a bunch of food and it cost a bit less than £20 but if you go to a different place you can probably pay around £10 for a pizza or something with a drink. Really enjoy your videos max, keep up the good work. Could you tell me if it's better to exchange british pounds in cash or using atm's? (Starling or revolut card etc)
Hello, thanks, and I am glad you are enjoying my videos. I have never really noticed a difference between cash and card. I use Revolut and it works great 👍
Hello I would definitely recommend the marina and there are some water parks (jungle aqua Park is a good one) also you can get a taxi to el gouna and go to downtown, marina and the golf course is very nice to walk around. They also have a wakepark that is good fun obviously your children couldn't do it but you could try it 😅😁
@@Yorkshire_lad_abroad thanks mate appreciate it will look into all of these, is inDrive the go to app for taxis? as my hotel want £20 to marina and back
@@ahmedabdo-up4oc Maybe the burger would be a bit dodgy but the kosheri is good and good value. Maybe it's for the locals but I don't think it's low quality. I'm a vegtarian and lived in Alex for four years and ate a lot of kosheri. Thing is, too, as Max will tell you, if you live there or visit a lot your stomach gets used to the food. A tourist only there for a week or two maybe yeh should avoid the cheaper stuff to eat.

Nice one, Max. I love kosheri (as a vegetarian) - it's cheap, healthy and yummy!
Yeah kosheri is nice

Nice man, I am from Huddersfield, and i really like Egypt 🔥
Interesting vid! Like that you’re straight to the point and not faffing around too much. Might have been cool to see the food a bit more
Thanks for watching! I completely agree. I should have showcased the food more. I will remember that for the next video
Hi I am going to hurghada solo in the middle of June , would you be able to show me around the best sights and best places to eat 😀
Hello I am pretty busy for the next month but yeah I can show you around one day or evening. Where are you from? And how long are you staying?
@@Yorkshire_lad_abroad I’m staying between June 11th and 18th in a resort by the museum I’m from Wales
Nice I really like wales! Have you ever been here before?
@@Yorkshire_lad_abroad yes it’s nice here, no I haven’t been before it’s my first time going to another country alone so it’s gonna be an experience
Yeah it will definitely be a experience but hurghada is safe I have been living on and off here for 5 years and I have never had a problem
Alex, do a video on renting apartments, utilities and taxes involved etc?
Yeah I think I will do that!! Thanks 👍
@@Yorkshire_lad_abroad sorry dude called you Alex instead of Max 😂
@bobTrotter_1125 haha yeah it's all good 👍 🤣
Yes mate you can get food cheaper when you come round to ours for dinner 🤪
Very true I should do a video on how to live for free 🤣

How much would you pay for an actual, pleasant, sit down meal? I don’t eat meat, so fish, seafood or vegetarian?

Please is there any card specification using the machine at their airport hurghada? Have got Barclays and Revolut
I use revolut because there are no fees. On my Halifax it charges me per transaction

Nice video,
And about massage/spa is it expensive or cheap?? Do you have experience about it????
Is this city safe for holidays???
You can get a massage for about £10 in hurghada but if you go to el gouna it is alot more expensive
And yeah, hurghada is very safe, and El Gouna is even safer!!
It's all not high in Hurghada. There is a spa place near Scandic Resort
I am shocked lol I've been to Egypt hurghada over 6 times and I didn't know these prices exist 😂 I've been scammed badly
Haha, yeah, you have to know where to go and have an idea of what you should pay
not necessarily scammed just the gap between local prices in non touristic areas and the touristic ares
no these prices are for low quality food for the locals , I don't think your stomach will handle it but us egyptians are used to it
