Ty like the rest of the cast of Modern Family seem to have a very down to earth personality. I think that is what has made this show successful for so many years. They have great respect for one another. They are all grateful for the opportunity to act. Not once have I seen any of them in this situation or just being interview not one person forget the people that got them there. Great Cast!!! Great Writers!!! Great show!!!

Yes it was, laughing can be a very therapeutic thing. My dad used to make me and everyone really, laugh all the time. Watching him die was beyond traumatic. But it helped to remember his sense of humor
It was actually heartbreaking to watch, how much he misses his father. It's very brave, to be exposed and be so open within a group that isn't your family or your natural support system and I feel grateful for him for allowing me as a viewer to be a part of this beautiful moment.

Ever since I started to get hitched on this sitcom, I've learned more about fatherhood from Phil than from best selling books on parenting (or should I say "peerenting"?) I love how Ty portrayed the character with such genius stroke of comedy and drama.

Watching this 10 years after the fact. First, loved Modern Family, and it deserved all the awards it got. But funny how all the actors were from network shows, but this past year, hardly any were. Amazing how far the alternate networks and streaming services have come to capture both audiences and awards in that short a span of time.
Ty Burrell is hilarious on Modern Family [good writing], Chris Colfer is THE best actor out there and many people I think can agree with that even if they dont like the show, they must agree that the kid has enough talent to rival many in the business and that's why he's so popular. I really can't wait to see him winning more awards because he certainly deserves each win and nomination.
To think he almost didn't get the job because he didn't fit an image they had in their heads. What a shame that would have been but he showed all of us that he is a brilliant comedic actor and did so much physical comedy in it too.
I have watched every episode up to season 3 over and over...I just cant get enough of it, i have too many faves and cant pick the best episode. I love this series and hope it keeps going strong for many years. love them all...but you gotta love gloria and her box of baby jesus!!

Dude is the best, didn't know who he was when I saw the "Dawn of the Dead" remake in the theater. Now, I can't help but laugh at his parts. Dude is a pure comedic actor.
