I needed this today. A thought popped into my mind about something someone said- it was so slight and I didn’t even catch it before. I started to ruminate on it. Even started to get angry, was offended. Thankfully, I realized what was happening not long after and said, “I need to take this to God” the first thing I read in the Bible “You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy”. That’s what I want my character to be- not to dwell on these things. Next I see “God is Love, and whoever abides in love, abides in God, and God abides in Him.” Which lead me to this beautiful song which I never would have found otherwise, “God is Love”…and one of the first things it says…”Be not offended by negative things people say” WOW, God. I just love the way he personally speaks to all of us in the littlest details of our lives. God bless you all 💙 God sees you and cares for you. At times the struggle seemed like it would never end. Many times I had to stand on my tip toes to not drown from the pain and heartache.
