Wow!!! What a journey!!! That one note just explodes in beautiful stunning power. The edge, the range. The guts that he uses on this song is off the charts. That was brilliant!!! So many cool layers of his voice that was such a stunning mashup!!! He can do it all!!! Oh my goodness!!!

HUGE DAN VASC FAN from the USA. I think he’s one of the best singers right now because of his vocal range, his transitions, his beautiful voice, his ability to sing so many genres, his creativity, etc. The beginning hymn is called Jesu Salvator Mundi by Bartolomeo Cordans (1700-1757). This has quickly become one of my favorite Dan covers! Hail VascNation ❤ RIP Andre Matos (Shaman). Two more things……1) the original song by Shaman has a female singing the Hymn in the beginning. 2) I recently saw a video where Dan (live show) filled in as lead singer for Shaman since, sadly, Andre is no longer with us. Confessori and Luis Mariutti were on stage as well. Not to speak ill of the late Andre, but Dan’s voice fits incredibly well with Shaman and how Andre sounded.
Yet another fantastic reaction/review of this incredible artist! Thank you.
Also, TY for playing his words at the end. In his previous release of this song, he honors Andre with deep everlasting respect.

I only learned of André Matos from Dan's cover of Carry On, done right after Matos passed. (Only found Dan in June.) I've been able to find several Matos videos. How I wish I'd have known about him years ago. I love watching him perform with Luis Mariutti in Angra and Shaman. As for Dan, he really looked up to Matos and he always does him justice with his covers. Everything DV does is golden. Thanks for another smart review. Very, very nice. And thanks for showing us you can speak English very well, too. Have a fabulous birthday Friday!!!😊❤
