actually ota 'might be allowed to' হয়, যদি Reported Speech এ 'Let' এর পরে 'us' না থাকে।
অর্থাৎ যখন আমরা, said/said to এর পরিবর্তে 'wished/requested ' ব্যবহার করি।
Example
Direct :Pradip said to his father, "Let me do this ".
Indirect : Pradip wished/ requested his father that he might be allowed to do that.
অথবা,
Pradip wished/ requested his father that he might do that.

Sir (I said to my father ,"Let it be done.")এই sentence r narration change ki hoba please balben.

Or,
I wished/ requested my father that it might be allowed to be done. (এক্ষেত্রে মনে হতেই পারে, যে 'be' টা দু'বার ব্যবহৃত হল। কিন্তু প্রথমে 'be' টা Rules wise বসেছে, (might be allowed to) ; আর দ্বিতীয় ক্ষেত্রে 'be' টা প্রশ্নেই ছিল। )
