I’ll be the mad man and pick Wemby. Love KD as a scorer but I think Wemby’s defense alone will lift bars on teams. But Wemby’s scoring at 46% and averaged 21 and 10. If he gets slightly more efficient from the field on similar production it can easily jump up to 25+ppg. So I’ll go with Wemby on those merits.
I like KD but I would of pick Wemby. Wemby can play defense and can score easily in the paint. KD failed his fans because Brooklyn was supposed to be in the finals and Phoenix shuda neva have gotten swept because KD is on that team as a leader. IDK but just my opinion.
(Spurs Fan) 10 years ago we won our last title but I vaguely remember it I was only 14 years old I didn’t get the true passion of a Spurs fan back then. 2016-2017 season we had one of the best Spurs teams in our History we were chasing number 6 San Antonio was alive we could’ve gotten it but Kawhi went down in game 1 and then after that started the continuous downward spiral from there. Other fans don’t know the story the way Spurs Fans know it Kawhi wanted out. So began years of being mediocre and missing the playoffs, last season we were dead we were afraid we could even lose the team to somewhere else, but then it happened the draft lottery. Victor Wembanyama has brought life back to Spurs Basketball and back to the City of San Antonio. Despite the record Wemby made us fall in love with the Spurs all over again.
Love his hustle! He's always one of the first on other side of court. Both offense and defense it seems.

I remember I was in Chicago when all the hype about Jordan was coming up and this is to the same degree of hype that Jordan was receiving only because he's from another country this has become another level of hype we're talking worldwide hype.
😅Back then in the 80s there wasn't as much hype coming from overseas but now with players like Luca and Victor Wembanama and others, the NBA has been taken by Europe. It's almost like when the Beatles came to the United States, and it's not like taking away from the incredible players in the NBA has received here like chat and some of the others that are playing awesome but for Europeans beginning to match our level is Incredible.

Imo Wemby had a spectacular rookie simply because he's not intimidated by anyone. Nor did he allow other bigs to bully him. And he can only get better in the years to come. He will no doubt win MVP honors in the next year or two.
